Topshop tee, New Look skirt, Tesco tights and my beloved Yull Chelsea Boots.

Clearly I over-did the caffiene yesterday morning, I got a little carried away there.

TGIF! Celebratory dance because it’s Friday AND because tomorrow I get a new tattoo! How can one be miserable with that on the horizon?!

The tattoo is a reward for changes I have made, and a reminder to keep making them and to overcome the ups and downs that may be along the way. I can’t wait to get it!

that which we call a rose

A few weeks ago (way back before I went to Spain actually) I was given the chance to create a customised ring from Jewlr, a fabulous website I’d somehow not heard of before where you can tailor your jewellery to suit you or your chosen recipient.
I picked the “flourish rose” ring from the striking Prism Collection, opting to skip the engraving and have it bejwelled with a Swarvoski amethyst.

I was genuinely impressed at how fast this arrived and how neatly and attractively packaged it was. The ring itself is a thing of beauty. The website is definately one to bookmark for future gift shopping; it’s not just limited to rings, you can also customise pendants and there is something for any one and any occasion.

How gorgeous is my little owl ring? Kindly sent to me by the folk at newly launched wonsuponatime; specialising in all things fairytale. I have a lot of love for this shop, they have some seriously unique pieces for sale including these quirky unicorn earrings.

Worn with New Look dress, Superdrug tights and shoes by Bertie c/o Sarenza. The arrival of September has bought with it the departure of decent morning light. Hello poor(er) quality (than usual) photos *sigh*

hot headed

So, like I mentioned yesterday, I re-did my red hair! It feels so good to be back to vibrant colour and I love the positive attention it attracts. I remain faithful to Life Salon Style; Intense Red which I buy in bulk when on offer- the upside of this new, shorter hair is I once again only need one box. I really like this length for my hair, someone remind me to keep it up?! I’m hopeless at booking in for maintenance.

Wearing floral dress c/o Matalan which won me the very first Style Project well over a year ago now! The tights are from New Look and were a “well done” gift from work, and the boots are c/o Ellos. I’m not sure why I’m wearing boots all of a sudden, I should be making the most of the nice weather and the last chance to wear sandals until next year!

Well, we’re half way through the working week; congratulations on making it so far! How’s it going for you?
