Autumn Shoes at USC

This blog really needs to be renamed “a daisy chain dreams of shoes”. My collection is taking over the whole upstairs of the house and I still can’t stop browsing.
Today I’m sharing my pick of the women’s shoes (more specifically, boots) from high-street retailer USC

Clompy boots are definatley a perk of the cooler weather and right now you can get some pretty sweet bargains!

1. Timberland pull on boots, £110

2. Juju Jellies embellished wellies, £10

3. Abandon Cosmic Glitter boots, £40

4. Blink Nancy Boots, £25

Perfect for casual weekend walks…and for those of you gulping at the price of the Timberlands, I had a pair a few years ago that were the most comfortable boot ever, I can’t even think why I don’t have them any more!

Tee and Jeans from MotelRocks.com. Flatform sandals c/o Miss Ikon

I will be distraught when these Motel jeans no longer fit me, I love them so much; something about the cut and style of the Jordan jean is just perfect for my body and it’s odd proportions.

How is your week kicking off? It’s been a positive start (mainly) over here, I hope things continue in this upward curve,
it’s about time I had a spell of good luck! (£15 scratchcard win yesterday, score! that’s part of my tattoo paid for.)

My hair is now a lot more vibrant, I dyed it shortly after these photos were taken.

I appear to have “blogger’s block” over what to write in posts lately, lame. Any ideas?

An outfit for £50? It can be done!

Over the weekend I recieved an e-mail from fashionvouchers.com challenging bloggers to create an outfit for £50 or less from boohoo.com
Now BooHoo isn’t exactly expensive, but it did take a bit of doing to meet the £50 budget!

A bit of browsing later and I came up with a simple and chic outfit that is made even more bargainous as each piece is versatile enough to go with other wardrobe basics; sometimes the trouble with a cheap outfit is that it really is a wear once kind of thing.

1. Orla Button detail shift, £8

2. Cheska black patent Chelsea Boots, £20

3. Coco patent structured top handle shopper, £20

Thank heavens for clearance sections, the first place I check in any shop both in the real world and online!

What do you think of this outfit? Can you come up with better in the budget?

Sarenza Shoe of the Week

Gone are the days when Skechers meant trainer style shoes (often quite odd ones!) and little else. I’m loving the Ranger by Skechers boot as an affordable (£50) shoe for weekend wearing, uni students and anyone else who’s drawn in to the easy on the eye design. I’d be rocking them both with jeans and delicate dresses; the colour lending themselves to pretty much anything you pair them with.

What do you think?
Have skechers broken the mold? I’ll be keeping a closer eye on them from now on!

September Survival Wishlist

With the arrival of September comes a craving for rich berry colours, mixed with deep greens and muddy browns. We may yet get a burst of Summer but I’m not holding out hope and today I have conjured up a wishlist of what I would love to help me survive September!

1. Dark Green skinny jeans, £16.99 from New Look. I’m really starting to embrace jeans and trousers more and these are the perfect Autumn colour (I think)

2. Bunny Print sweater top £12 from George at Asda. I already own the jersey owl jumper and this is next on my list. I love the quirky print, relaxed fit and supersoft material (lovingly stroked in store yesterday). These jumpers are such bargains.

3. Barbour from ASOS. LOVE the Liberty lining in this, do not love the price tag of over £200! I am trying hard to save up for a Barbour though. I love them and know that once afforded, it will be a sound investment. I shall probably hit up the outlet at Clark’s village for mine though, they have some relative bargains there.

4. Velvet Chelsea Boots from Matalan, currently only £10 online! I’m on a shoe ban, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want these! I was caught stroking them in store yesterday. Oh so soft and I LOVE the colour.

What’s on your September wishlist? Still holding out for Summer?
