Sarenza A-Z: Jeffrey Campbell

I took a break from the A-Z last week, I’m not sure why, but it felt right…this week however I am back with the best of what Sarenza has to offer; and I’m pretty sure that the brand I have picked for “J” doesn’t need much introduction…

Jeffrey Campbell has a bit of a cult following among bloggers; most notably for the infamous Lita style. I own several pairs of shoes by this brand and I can’t rate them highly enough…(I don’t own Lita’s though and haven’t made up my mind about them). Jeffrey Campbell really caters for all tastes and styles, from practical boots and brogues to the more outrageous sculptured heels; here are the pairs I currently have my eye on…

1. Morning…pretty and practical, part of me loves these, yet there is a part of me that says I shouldn’t!

2. Papillon, the clean cut shape and bold colour appeal, not to mention the fact they are likely to be VERY comfortable.

3. Rocking. Says it all.

4. Swansong Floral, which I think may have featured on the blog before. I really want a pair of these for the summer!

Are you a Jeffrey Campbell fan? What would your dream pair be? Litas, or something less well known?

Sarenza A-Z: Irregular Choice

Somehow we’ve reached I in the A-Z…I’m not sure where the weeks have gone to, but here we are. I’m pretty sure nobody predicted that my brand of choice this week would be Irregular Choice; a bit of a marmite brand between bloggers and one I never used to get, but since Alex and Charlotte introduced me, I’ve become a bit of an addict and own several pairs.
.

Hmm, where has my spring like colour scheme gone?

1. Miaow; possibly one of the most recognised styles by now, they’ve been around for a few seasons and I still adore them.

2. Otters; cheating somewhat as I own these, but I still love them; they are much more subtle than they appear and really comfortable too!

3. No Photo Please; because a girl can not have too many pairs of glitzy flats.

4. A Night Under the Stars; GLITTER.

They also do some pretty fun bags, too (there, that’s more spring like!)

Are you a lover or a loather? What’s your “irregular” choice?

P.S. My second choice brand was the super affordable I Love Shoes, yet another brand that Sarenza introduced me to.

a nod to spring

Really old Primark dress, New Look tights, Noe at Sarenza shoes.

The second I saw these shoes on Sarenza, I had to own them…the colour, the shape, everything about them made me immediatley want to cast away the boots and focus on bright and pretty shoes. Teamed with an old faithful floral dress I finally felt hopeful that winter was on it’s way out.

How’s your week shaping up so far? Those at LFW, I hope you aren’t too exhausted (though have little sympathy if you are!) and the rest of us…tomorrow it’ll once again be the middle of the working week!

Are you starting to transition Spring in to your wardrobe? What trends are you most looking forward to embracing? For me, it has to be pastel. The five year old girl in me just can’t help it.

Sarenza A-Z: House of Harlow 1960

This week I’m focusing on the luxury brand side of Sarenza; Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 is entirely what you would expect from the queen of boho. This is a strictly wish list kind of post as the shoes aren’t everyday affordable, but it’s fun to have dreams and something to drool over right?

1. Kai; these remind me of Toms (of which I want a pair) with a luxury edge. Not the type of shoe I am usually attracted to but with my new found appreciation for jeans I could see me working something like this in to my every day attire…at £144.50 though, it sadly won’t be this pair.

2. Madison; encompass everything I used to hate in a shoe (but then, I used to be a fan of Uggs). I really like these, almost enough to think screw the £190+ price tag…but what on earth would one wear them with?

3. Leigh; I am in love. If these babies ever go in the sale I vow to make them mine.

4. Steffie; In the winter I love lace up boots, in summer I am all about this style sandal, I just can’t help myself. These cost £191.50 so won’t be featuring, even though broken in to cost-per-wear they’d be mere pennies. Do you have a shoe style that you automatically head for?

Has anyone else fallen for House of Harlow’s earthy charms? I never expected to love anything by a celebrity but Nicole Richie has proven exception to the rule.

Winner

The Friday before last I found out I was the lucky winner of £100 to spend at MotelRocks.com…I spent a fair few days contemplating my order and whether I was brave enough to take the plunge and go for a pair of the infamous Jordan jeans (I was, and I did!). One of the other things that really drew me in was this Winner Tee, not only was it incredibly apt, I also fell for the slouchy fit and the subtle but cheeky slogan.

Worn with jeans by Vila (stolen from Mum, so comfy!) and those Dune sequin flats I featured on a Sarenza post a few weeks ago; they were further reduced in the sale so it was a no brainer that I HAD to own them!

This was worn for a Saturday spent mooching around the shops with Best.Friend. and a night in front of Take Me Out and Casualty. You should know by now, I’m not one for rock and roll weekends, and as much as part of me wishes I was at LFW, the other part is exhausted just thinking about it!
