Sarenza A-Z: P is for Pieces

After an absence last week, this week I am a day early with my A-Z of Sarenza, and the sharp witted among you may notice I’ve skipped over the letter “O” (it was impossible). Here I am a day early giving you my favourite picks from the brand Pieces; a rising Danish brand that is both on trend and affordable.

Shoe wise, Pieces don’t do an awful lot, but what they do create, they create well. With Summer supposedly looming I’m drawn to these staple black sandals; Sevilla (top) costs £50 and Sandra costs a very reasonable £40. I always think black sandals are worth investing a little in as they are a classic that goes with everything.

Another reason I love Sarenza so much is they stock a wide range of bags to compliment the shoes, and this is where Pieces really comes in to it’s own…full of sorbert shades and all styles for Summer I have my eye on (from top to bottom) Florine, £33.99; Noella Net, £22.90 and Narella leather clutch, £29.70. At those prices it’s tempting to get all three!

Have you heard of, or shopped Pieces yet? What do you think?

Sarenza A-Z: N is for Nike

I’m not a sporty girl, not anymore…and yet when it came to picking a brand for this week’s Sarenza post, Nike was the first to come to mind. Hi-tops are having a moment and Nike have it nailed (I also couldn’t resist some floral) and so I bring you week “N” of the A-Z and the shoes I’ve secretly coveted for quite some time.

These Women’s air force 1 are probably the most obvious choice from me…it’s no secret that I love anything even vaguely floral,
however, I think the flowers have been trumped by the dunk high ’08 in either the pink colourway or the grain/grain version.

As a girl who used to wear nothing BUT trainers, as much as I love these I really can’t see me getting the wear out of the now, but what I do know is that you get what you pay for, and as far as statement shoes go, these are a bargain, all at under £100 a pair.

Are you a sports shoe fan? Or does it bring back memories of tragic fashion times?

Sarenza A-Z: M is for Melissa

I try to keep my weekly Sarenza posts focused on lesser known brands, but sometimes a new arrival from a much adored by bloggers brand needs a mention! I’m loving the Spring/Summer drop from Melissa even though my hatred of plastic shoes, until recently, ran deep.

From top to bottom; The Liberty style nails the neon trend in a subtle way and are perfect for Summer both abroad and in rainy old England (perk of plastic = waterproof). The Vivian Westwood/Melissa collaboration is much loved, and I’ve seen these gorgeous Lady Dragon shoes on some of my favourite blogging ladies (Jen, Maria…I’m looking at you!) which makes them all the more covetable…at £143.70 they are a fairly affordable way to do designer.
The name “Peace” is so apt for this hippie-chic wedges. I love the clashing bright colours and almost Missoni style print of the platform.
And finally, the ultimate holiday shoe? Lua III will be accompanying me if I venture overseas this Summer (which I fully intend to do) My only gripe? I can’t decide between coral or beige!

Are you a fan of Melissa shoes? Do you own any? Which pair has caught your eye?

Sarenza A-Z: L is for Lollipops

“The Lollipops brand was launched in 1998 by Marjorie Mathieu and Yann Ducarouge and very quickly became a benchmark brand for fantasy-style accessories. It created a commercial network under the brand that multiplied the number of sales outlets throughout the world. Sarenza has chosen a selection of Lollipops bags representative of the brand for you: coloured ranges, jolly mixtures of styles and materials, a touch of fun, girly spirit… Lollipops bags, both carefree and spontaneous, are the perfect glamorous combination of luxury and street dress codes, aimed at active fashion gurus aged between 25 and 40”

Consider me smitten, I think I’ve found my perfect summer shoe wardrobe in sweet as sugar brand Lollipops; once again I have Sarenza to thank for introducing me to a shoe maker that would have otherwise passed me by! I love a brand that multi-tasks and the fact Lollipops make bags too earns them an even softer spot in my heart…

My top five? May I introduce you to…Kaleido, Maboutique, Minuit, Miberty and my personal favourite Magic

The weather might not be quite so glorious right now, but these shoes have me dreaming. What say you…are you a Lollipops lover?

Sarenza A-Z: K is for Kenzo

Finally after a loss of mojo and a few technological hiccups I’m back with my alphabet tour of Sarenza. Somehow we’ve made it to the letter K; and for this I’m focusing on an “in my dreams only” brand…Kenzo.

I do try and make the items I feature on my blog afforable, but sometimes heart rules over head and I cast my principals aside. At over £150 a pair these aren’t the most expensive of shoes out there, but they aren’t exactly every day affordable either; I think you’ll forgive me when you see how damn pretty they are though *nods*

SEE? I introduce you to Antonella Cuir, Zen, Risy Melisse and Femminile

…if you want me, I’ll be drooling by my laptop.
