Lovely Lace

Lilac lace dress c/o Glamorous, Kate Kanzier flats. Knowing yesterday would be hell at work (and oh my, it was!) I decided to debut my second item from Glamorous so that even if I felt flustered, I was wearing something pretty! As it happened, my morning was spent wearing an attractive white apron as the phlebotomist called in sick so I stepped up and took bloods, but stil…I’m fairly sure that whenever I need something pretty to wear, I’ll be heading back to Glamorous, especially as the dresses aren’t insanely short on me!

What are your long weekend plans? I’m hoping just to relax, I have a couple of things in the pipeline, but on the whole I expect it to be calm and chilled…everything the last week hasn’t been!

Wild at Heart

I also managed to persuade my Mum to have her photo taken…you’d never guess she’s approaching a big birthday this year…stunner!

Of course, no post would be complete without yet another photo of Mae, she’s just too cute!

Only a few more (er, 12) hours until the weekend starts…a whole four days…so needed! Have a good one folks, what do you have planned?

Mae time Play time.

Playing around with the new camera, on the most basic of settings only until I get a chance to really explore what it can do! Mae was more than happy to show off and pose for me…the first photo is honestly how she spends most of her waking hours, the second she spies someone…such a ladylike beast.

The difference in being able to get outfit photos is noticable. My other camera was so hit or miss with whether it’d take a photo or not, and this one just…did! Wearing Zara dress, New Look tights and shoes c/o Sarenza.

With the long weekend ahead I am hoping to get to play around a lot more with all the different functions and settings. If anyone has any hints and tips for me, they’d be gratefully recieved!

Two more days to go…roll on the weekend!

sunny intervals and explorations

Matalan dress (old), Shellys shoes c/o Sarenza…on the days I do my 7:15am start I have to chuck something simple to change in to once I’ve done my blood taking clinic so I don’t keep my colleagues on reception waiting as I change out of my uniform! Today it was my ever faithful floral Matalan dress, purchased for the bargain price of £16 and worn to death. Inspired by my Sarenza post the other day I dug out my Shellys “Whiskey Mist” shoes, embracing the non-forecasted sunshine and breaking away from the boots. As much as I love my collection of boots I am dying to break out the summer shoes!

Mae is loving this weather, exploring the garden! She’s calmed down a lot since we started getting her outside and by the time she comes in all she wants is some sleepy cuddles (especially when one is wearing black tights!)

Because I truly am besotted with this little beast, I am also sharing a video I got of her having a little play…excuse my lame voice and moments of dullness!




So glad it’s Thursday, the weekend is finally within reach!
