Daisy Chain Dreaming: Harem Royal Screwpulous Jewellery

Clearly having a jewellery moment right now as there have been more jewellery than shoe posts this week! I am floored by the craftmanship in these amazing pieces by Harem Royal Screwpulous Jewellery, showcasing the juxtaposition between contrasting elements.

The collection is entirely hand-crafted and made from a mixture of metals; mainly copper with a variety of finishes from the finest 24 karat gold plate to various forms of cupric patina and features some delicate yet fierce pieces.

The entire collection is available to buy at the Harem Royal Etsy Page where prices (which I found reasonable before this revelation) are 15% off until the 21st!
What’s your favourite piece from the shop? For me, I think it’s the butterfly necklace at the bottom of the images I’ve shared!
Have a wonderful Saturday

Daisy Chain Dreaming: La10 Jewellery

This blog is full of wishlists lately, but I seriously can’t help myself. The latest objects of desire come from Jewellery brand La10 who specialise in unique designs inspired both by 19th Century architecture and the geometric lines of modern day life.

Each piece is unique, with it’s own story and character making it ultra special. At around £120-£190 for a ring it’s not cheap; but then, it’s not expensive either when you consider the workmanship that goes in to it and jewellery is one area in which I don’t mind investing.
At the moment my ultimate dream piece would be the open pearl ring in sterling silver although I could happily see myself wearing anything from the entire website!

Do you like to invest in jewellery? I’m sick of wasting money on cheap rings and necklaces that turn my skin green or tarnish after a couple of wears…the only thing I will always buy cheap is earrings because I am forever losing them! What’s caught your eye from La10?

crumpled; the explanation

Wearable art…the product shots from Crumple are frame-worthy themselves. Specialising in Jewellery that’s eco friendly and handmade in the UK, I was instantly smitten with the quirky work of Jezella and El.

Made with responsibly sourced card and non-toxic glue, hung on sterling silver hooks and packaged in the most wonderful little boxes, Crumple certainly know how to stand out from the crowd. Their papertales collection celebrates the power of nature and beauty of wild flowers in a slightly off the wall, but oh so appealling manner.

The pair I am wearing in my earlier post is called “dotty”

Inspired by the humble ‘dot’, the art of story telling, and the final dot the author pens to complete the final chapter of a book. These earrings celebrate great story tellers and the impact they have on the way we think, feel and act.

The cost £20 and for each pair of earrings sold, 20p is donated to a conservation project.

To find out more about Crumple designs you MUST visit their website, like them on facebook and stalk them on Twitter!

Daisy Chain Dreaming: Daisy Lace & Studs from Lola&Grace

How stunning is this jewellery from quirky brand Lola&Grace? It takes a certain something to make me want to post about something on the blog; if I shared every press release I recieved this blog would soon lose focus; and although my posts are eclectic, they are all things I truly adore. Jewellery is a weak point for me…I’m like a magpie, attracted to anything that shines. Traditionally I’ve always opted for more delicate pieces, especially when it comes to neck adornment, but I would happily wear each and every one of these pieces, and I suspect one or two will feature highly on my Birthday wish-list.

And how much for these wonderful creations?
Well, I was shocked…

From top to bottom:

Daisy lace necklace – £23.90
Daisy lace cuff – £29.90
Daisy lace earrings – £15.90
Spiral rebound necklace – £31.90
Spiral rebound ring – £23.90
Spiral rebound earrings – £23.90
Spiral rebound bracelet – £21.90
Gem petals necklace – £39.90

Gem petals ring – £31.90

Impressive!

If you had to narrow it down, which piece would you pick? I’m erring toward the Gem Petals Necklace (and perhaps the ring!)

cranberry crush

Dress- A Wear, Tights- Boots, Shoes- Poetic License via TK Maxx, Necklace- EssBeeVee’s etsy

Over the last couple of months I have gone from owning nothing in pink to loads in pink…finally I’m turning in to a girl, or something like that.
Actually, the label proclaims this dress “Cranberry” but with a price tag of £5 a couple of days before the A Wear shop in Bristol closed down, I wasn’t going to argue that it looked more pink to me.

How cute is this necklace? Made by the gorgeous Sarah, you can get your own in her Etsy shop, I bought one for a friend and she very kindly sent me one too….Sarah, have I told you lately that I love you?

What do we think of the new header? A lovely girl named Katie created it for me, but I won’t say any more than that right now as there is a blog post dedicated to her coming up in the very near future; we go way back!

Friday is finally here. Have a Crunchie and get ready for the weekend.

((if you don’t get the Crunchie thing then we can’t be friends, sorry))
