Lookbook Love: THE WHITEPEPPER

THE WHITEPEPPER has quite quickly become a firm blogger favourite, myself included and I’m not usually one to become obsessed with an entire range from just one brand. Last week saw the release of their Spring14 lookbook and I once again fell head over heels. I only own one piece from THE WHITEPEPPER so far but my wishlist is miles long. Just check out both the brilliant designs and the gorgeous imagery.
I hadn’t intended on sharing pretty much every image from the lookbook (I’ve kept them small but you can click and enlarge) but I really couldn’t narrow down. Unusually for me I couldn’t even pick a singluar favourite piece, there’s nothing I dislike. In a dream world I’d own the pink floral two piece and ALL of the dresses (no one cuts dresses like THE WHITEPEPPER)
I seriously need to get back to work and back earning so I can add to my collection.
Do you own any of their pieces? Which brands do you find yourself becoming obsessed with?

At The Seaside

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside…
I really do you know? It brings back so many memories of childhood holidays spent on beaches in Devon and Cornwall. No fancy overseas holidays for us, nope. It was all about piling in to cars and setting off down the motorway; my parents, my grandparents and various Aunts, Uncles and cousins for a glorious week of sunshine (somehow it never rained then), ice cream and sandcastles.
Perhaps this is why I am so drawn to the SS14 collection from aMuse, named A Perfect Day…at the Seaside. It has a real sense of nostaliga and “British Holiday” about it. I’m thinking paddling in rock pools, eating salty chips from newspaper and tipping buckets of sand over sun bathing adults (sorry Dad!)
This capsule collection is by designer Sarah Nettleton and captures both nautical shapes and colours. Inspired by her own childhood growing up in New England, USA they translate easily to the British love of all things seaside.
Surprisingly for such beautiful, unique jewellery the prices are really down to earth. Starting at £25 for the earrings to £45 for the Paper Boat Necklace my sights are set on the Fish and Chips necklace, at £25 I’ve finally found a wish list item I will be able to afford sooner rather than later.
What are your thoughts on this collection? It’s incredible right? Anything that can take me back to those happy summers is a real winner.
The collection is available from amusefashions.com which in itself is a whole treasure trove of inspiration.

P.S. it’s surgery day for me…fingers crossed eh?

Snapshots of January

And that’s how my month looked, failing to capture what I had of a social life, oops.
I’m not sure what Feburary’s snap shots will hold…a whole lot of food from post-op snacking I expect!

Sarenza Sunday: Pretty in Pastel

Happy Febuary one and all! Congratulations, we made it through January. We’re also one step closer to Spring and therefore my Sarenza pick this week is the fabulous “Sue” shoe by Vagabond. It comes in two colour ways- grey and peach + lime and duck egg blue and has the cutest little heel. I’m a big fan of ballet flats although my current collection is in a sad state of affairs. I’m alwaysa little reluctant to order online as the sizes are so hard to guess, but I’m finding these sweeties hard to resist. Sarenza is fabulous for ballet flats and I always feel spoiled for choice, overwhelmed in fact and thus I’m yet to take the plunge.
Now, which colour?
