Be Savings Savvy with Sales Gossip

SalesGossip.co.uk, is a revolutionary new website that has launched today. It locates and curates every fashion and beauty sale on the high street and online, allowing ‘bargainistas’ to search and discover high street sales online and on their mobile. This is the first ever tool that collects all information about sales direct from both high street and online retailers and allows shoppers to search and discover the sales according to their location, the brands they love or the outfits they are hunting for”.

I’m all for saving money and since the launch e-mail arrived in my inbox yesterday I have been exploring the site and seeing just how user-friendly it is. Some sales/discount sites are just full of expired offers and dull design but Sales Gossip not only looks sleek but is full of relevant information sorted neatly into categories which make searching super easy; fashion, beauty, men’s, kids, sample sales and even student discount are easily located on the site and although the location coverage doesn’t include all of the major shopping destinations at present, for those who live near the ones that ARE covered then this is a must-use function!

My top picks of the current sales are…

Save 20% at boohoo.com

Student discount and money off at Matalan

20% off at Selfridges

Save 10% at Swarovski

I’d love to hear what you think of the site and what bargains you have snagged. I’m really impressed with what I have seen so far, the only downside being how much more tempting it is to shop!

Jumper: Asda George, Skirt: New Look, Shoes: c/o Sarenza

Supermarkets that sell clothes are so bad for me, especially when they are cheap! A random trip to Asda resulted in yet another jumper added to my knit collection (though this was a present from Mum). I was suckered in by the sequin collar and chance to add some sparkle to my working wardrobe. Teamed with a faithful skater skirt and those Steve Madden shoes that I suddenly live in (and will never tire of) I was quite impressed with how easy it was to add some sparkle to everyday wear.

I can’t believe we are almost at the end of another week, I had so many plans to get organised, do some more gift guides and generally get ahead of myself and BAM…running out of time, again. Thankfully I am off this afternoon so I will force myself to be productive; I’m glad I did my Christmas shopping when I was signed off sick or I’d probably be very stuck.

How are your festive preparations going? How do you add sparkle to your everyday look?

Boot Camp

A little bit of mid-week shoe lust courtesy of Ruby Rocks. Available now these gorgeous boots from the A/W collection start at £50 (as far as I can tell not available direct but places like Very, Barratts and Debenhams stock them).
I’m head over heels, literally for the second and third pair down. Must exert will power.

Which pair would you wear?

It’s Back: Revlon Sweet Boutique

Back in the summer Revlon ran a very successful game on their facebook page called Sweet Boutique, giving fans the chance to win one of the gorgeous Lip Butters. Just in time for the festive season, the Sweet Boutique re-launches today and with 100 Lip Butters to give away between now and December 4th it is well worth checking out.

You can find the Boutique here.

To celebrate the re-launch Revlon sent myself and other bloggers a “party pack” to help us get on trend with this season’s berry colour trend. It contained two Lip Butters which I am now obsessed with plus a gorgeous dark nail polish which I am yet to try due to doing so many clinics at work.

They just so happen to tone in with my little Owl!

So, if your a fan of Revlon Lip Butters or are yet to give them a try, hop on over to facebook now to try your luck!
Let me know if you get lucky,
and for those that love these as much as I do, what shades do I need to add to my collection?

Potential Party Dresses: The One?

Dress c/o Ax Paris, Shoes c/o Barratts

I think my search for a party dress may well be over. As part of my partnership with Ax Paris came this beautiful black sequin skater dress. It was love at first sight and as soon as I slipped it on my feelings about myself were transformed. I love a bit of sparkle, as most of you will now know and the cut of this dress skims over the parts I don’t like so much and emphasies those I do. It also comes in a beautiful nude colour, but me being me would have far too many red-wine induced accidents wearing that, so I went back to black.

The shoes I’m wearing were a gift from the folks at Barratts and although my foot really isn’t up to anything but flats at the moment (not pictured, the epic amounts of hopping and swearing these photos generated) I couldn’t resist slipping them on to show off. When I can wear heels again the wedge will be nice and gentle and I’m kind of obsessed with this berry colour right now. Oh so impatient to be able to wear this properly!

It’s under a month now until our work party and I am impatient for it to arrive now I know I have my dress! Footwear won’t be decided until much nearer the time as I guess it depends on the state of my tootsies but I’m hoping for some semi-killer heels; what would you suggest?

What do you think of this dress? Of the three options I’ve tried this is MY personal number one.
