I’m wearing a maxi skirt regardless of the weather still being foul. My remedy? My highest heels to prevent dragging in the wet.
I think this entire outfit cost around £15. All Primark. The skirt was £5, the top was £4 and the shoes £6. Magic.
(excuse the crazy wrinkles, it’s early)
I actually saw this skirt back in the summer on a ward trip and almost bought it. I’m glad I didn’t, because when I went back a couple of weeks ago it was less than half price. Score. Patience is a virtue.
I’ve been home from the hospital 8 weeks today, something that scares me a bit. But, I’m doing better than I ever thought possible and starting to gain a sense of direction with my life.
Happy Friday all,
plans for the weekend?
I shall be spending some quality time with the little brother before he heads back to uni 🙂
beautiful! I am so happy you feel good.
xoxo
You look lovely as ever my dear! I love how swishy the skirt is too- an integral part of any outfit! 🙂
Lots of love Maria xxx
Its fantastic to hear you say that :))))
I love the Gypsy Skirt lots, wish Primark did bigger sizes 🙁
Im busy keeping warm this weekend, it’s bloomin freezing up here at the minute, oh and teenage son needs a fancy dress outfit, I need to find a Cowboy hat and boots for Sunday !!!
Kandi x
8 weeks already? Wow, that’s gone fast! Am so proud of you hun.
My weekend will be spent shopping (not fun stuff, just the food shop), emptying some more stuff out of storage, general errands and suchlike! All the stuff that I have no time for during the week.
glad you’re looking all well after 8 weeks now! 🙂 i remember getting discharged from the hospital a year ago, and post-op made me feel so weak, but it was good to get back to the normal daily stuff.
also, i know how it feels waiting for something and when the price drops, you get it. knowing that you saved heaps! 🙂 but it’s also a heartbreak when you give in too quick, and some months later, the price drops. :\
oh and yes, you’re looking good over there! 🙂
my weekend will be filled with assignments and hoping to catch up on some much needed rest.
have a sweet weekend! x
Lovely!
i love it! you are looking so amazing!

you look so cute!!! you remind me of andy from pretty in pink. i dont know if i’ve ever told you, but you really remind me of molly ringwald (in her younger years!).
ps-congrats on being out for 8 weeks. it can be scary but you have a lot of support i’m sure. if you don’t email me.
You look great!
You know how much I love a maxi! That looks fantastic on you. Eight weeks? Wow! You are incredible, so strong and positive, a real inspiration.
My weekend? Jumble sale, booze, curry, catching up with friends and watching movies in front of a log fire. xxx
My weekend?
I’m home for once as I have Remembrance parade with the guides on Sunday, so I’ll be doing housework, wardrobe tidying (epic task), and apparently counting my shoes to answer one of alex’s questions for my Q+A :S
Oh and I have some sewing to do 🙂
Really glad that you’re sounding positive, and I love the outfit !! xx
You look stunning, as per usual, Laura; and I am so happy to hear that things are going better since your return from the hospital. 🙂
The skirt is gorgeous, you did right hanging on for the price to come down, ultimately they always reduce everything xx
love the top!

Can’t believe that top is primark!
That has gone so fast! Well done and keep it going 🙂
My weekend plans are sleep and get rid of this illness as I refuse to miss a day of school!
I’m glad you’re feeling better about yourself.
So happy you’re doing well hun xoxo
I’m so glad you’re feeling so positive, go you! The skirt is fab – it might be raining but there’s nothing like a long luxurious drapey outfit to wrap yourself up in and preted you’re in a period drama!
love your skirt!
Lovely combo!

I love the shade of pink and the feminine detail on the shoulders of that Primark blouse. Normally I’m not much into maxi-skirts but that one is lovely. Have an enjoyable weekend!
That ruffle-shoulder top is so pretty!

Thank you very much! It is from Zara.
love that you’ve risen above the rainy weather and worn what you want despite the gruesome puddles! very sweet and a little nod to spring, perhaps?! florals and pink are always nice to see. hope you have a great weekend. xx
I love that you always wear lovely, flowery clothes. It brightens up the dull weather and thanks for the lovely comments, sweetie. xxx
very cute skirt! good idea to wear high heels to prevent it from dragging on the floor.

You’re looking fab after 8 weeks at home, glad things are going well. I definitely agree that maxi skirts need heels, sod the slippery pavements, I’m wearing my hiking boots!
Have a great weekend :] That skirt is adorable!!

Darling the skirt is a dream! Loving the drape on it. And I’m happy you are doing great healthwise, you’ve been such an amazing girl and you deserve to have all the fun and sweet times in the world. Have fun with your bro. <3

You’re looking so pretty, so full of life. Such a soft feminine look, best way to cheer up a gloomy weather day is with pastels and flowers. I bet it worked.
Have the 8 weeks flown by? Or do they feel like 8 years ago? Or a bit of both?
Either way, congratulations. Thank you for your comment the other day, I was actually thinking of you when I wrote it. Everything is happily ever after now babe! xox
Really pretty skirt!
I’m lusting over a maxi skirt at the moment… looking for the perfect one 🙂
