Sunday I’m in love- Anya Hindmarch

It’s not often you’ll find me straying from the high street brands fashion sites in favour of something a little bit more luxurious, but that’s exactly what happened yesterday morning when despite my planned lie-in I found myself awake at 6am (with a nose stud in my mouth, of all places!). A flick through the latest iPad edition of Marie CLaire magazine led me to discovering the most amazing clutch bag from Anya Hindmarch, so off I trotted to the website only to find a whole array of amazing clutch bags- so far out of my reach thanks to the £895-£995 price tag (makes my Mulberry seem good value!) but still, a girl can dream. I’ve never been a clutch bag girl but suddenly I’m obsessed and these are doing nothing to quell that obsession.
Images all from the Anya Hindmarch website.
Aren’t these just amazing? I pretty much ignored the trend for novelty food related accessories when they hit the A/W catwalks but they are really growing on me. My addiction to biscuits probably isn’t helping here and the Rich Tea Clutch is really calling my name…
I can currently think of two solutions to my “want but can’t afford” dilemma, the first is to empty a pack of rich tea biscuits out and stick the wrapper around an old baked bean tin and fashion some kind of lid and strap. The second is to buy a family sized biscuit barrel assortment and comfort eat my sorrow away.
Which designers are giving you serious cravings at the moment?
It’s Sunday morning and I’m off to find some Rich Teas for breakfast!

Run and Jump for Joy

Another post where I extol the virtues of Joy The Store and their amazing new season stock. I’ve never really gone for the whole “sports luxe” vibe before with how I dress, it’s one trend that has seemed distinctly not me, but the latest drop at Joy is making me reconsider.
These are four of my favourite pieces from the new arrivals, from Left to Right we have: Louche Lamour Sweat | Louche Garret Check Skirt | Louche Hart Dress (my favourite) | Louche Quentin Jacket
These pieces are seriously making me rethink my status on the sporty vibe and I’m making it my mission to work it in to my wardrobe. I’ve heard on the grapevine that there are some more pieces coming very soon to Joy so I’ll be keeping a close eye out both for inspiration and perhaps a cheeky purchase.
Are there any trends you’ve not really tried and would like to? I challenge us all to give something new a go…

Shoe Lust- Kat Maconie at Brand Outlet

One of my favourite shoe designers has to be Kat Maconie. There isn’t one of her styles that I wouldn’t wear and I have a wish list a mile long. Sadly she is one of many designers that is out of my regular price range, so I was pretty excited when Brand Outlet announced a sale on her shoes.
Making designer pieces a bit more attainable Brand Outlet has fast become one of my favourite places to have a browse. My picks from the Kat Maconie sale are below: with prices up to 55% off it’d be rude not to at least look!
From top left:
Which pair is your favourite? I’m in love with the bold, graphic look of all of them but if I had to pick just one it’d be the Marie Neon Sandal as I love the contrast of the pale grey with the neon yellow. Sadly still out of my current budget as I’m saving hard to move out but I hope that at least one of you grabs a bargain!

Gorgeous Galibardy

Long time no jewellery post on the blog eh? I got caught up in the Spring/Summer clothing and footwear madness and totally neglected my beloved sparkle. No worries though because I’m about to give you a little feast for the eyes from one of my all time favourite jewellery websites Galibardy…I’ve been stalking this site ever since I first started blogging on those years ago and I can guarantee I always have a huge wish list from their stunning selection on the go.
Currently some of the objects of my desire are: (hover over an image for details)
I know, I know, who could have ever predicted the magical black cat ring would have ended up on my list? If you wanted to make a little purchase on my behalf, or even for yourself for this or any other item on the Galibardy Website then add the code daisychaindream at the checkout for a generous 25% off your order until the 29th July!
Sorry for such a short ‘n sweet post today, I’m off to the wedding of one of my oldest friends and I can’t wait to see her walk down the aisle! It’s things like this that make me feel suddenly very grown up though…
Happy Shopping!

Sarenza Sunday- Hey Sailor!

I might not have a Summer holiday booked (yet!) but that hasn’t stopped me from compiling a dream holiday wardrobe- and of course that involves a hefty dose of window shoe shopping, mostly on Sarenza. Last year in Spain I lived in flip flops as I couldn’t really find any sandals comfy enough for trekking around towns all day, I wish I had seen these shoes then, they would have been the perfect compromise. Should I book some late Summer sun then these will just have to be purchased (and at £22 why not?!)
I think the Reira by Refresh is the perfect addition to any suitcase- lightweight and versatile. These will look gorgeous with everything from a pair of short shorts for day to a little strappy dress for a laid back evening look. Available in five striped colour ways these have the perfect “by the sea” nautical vibe…and at £22 a pair I’m finding it hard to pick just one, at that price I’m sure I could easily justify both the navy AND the red, right?
What’s your Summer holiday staple shoe? I’m faithful to my Havianas for the most part but these are so much cuter and probably a whole lot more practical (no cutting feet on stones in the road for starters…)
