Sarenza Sunday- he loves me

Call me predictable but I am ALL over these Daisy Print Vans, new in on Sarenza. I found myself skimming over the numerous delicate Summer sandals and killer heels, always heading back to these humble hi-tops for this week’s post.
I’ve found myself ditching my favoured ankle boots lately, wanting only the comfort of my two pairs of Vans shoes. I’ve asked my parents for the ASPCA cat print pair for my Birthday in just over three weeks time and I’m thinking these might also be a near future addition to my collection, I love the “he loves me, he loves me not detail on the trim almost as much as I love the Daisy print.
What do you think of these? Fellow Vans fans, they are hands down the comfiest shoes ever, right?

Minted.

It’s not just pink I’m crazy for this season, I’ve also fallen head over heels for all things pastel. There is something so endearing about sugary sweet colours and when I was sent a pale minty green dress I decided to go all out on the matchy matchy pastel front.
Dress c/o shelikes | Boots: Mista via Sarenza | Necklace c/o Spoiled Brat
This dress is probably my current favourite piece in my wardrobe, I don’t own many green pieces, especially not in pastel so this is a welcome addition from shelikes. Unusually this dress is the pefect length on me and the colour seems to work quite well with my skin tone. It has a subtle embossed floral design which adds texture and it fits like a dream. I’ll be wearing this a lot over the coming months and it’ll be a nice addition to my work wardrobe as well as for out of work.
I’ve spoken about these Miista boots before, my current favourite brand for unique and edgy shoes these were on my wish list for ages before I was able to get my mitts on them in the Sarenza sale. These are so perfect for the chillier spring days and a more dainty alternative to my beloved black ankle boots. The only downside is they are too pretty to wear in the wet weather lest I get them covered in mud but that just means I’ll have them even longer! I’m seriously in love with Miista’s Spring/Summer designs- there are so many pastel pairs that I need on my feet.
It’s a well known fact that one of my favourite online boutiques Spoiled Brat sell an amazing array of on trend and covetable clothing, but did you know they also stock the most incredible selection of jewellery too? I was sent this brilliant Chelsea Doll “Meow” necklace as well as another from the range (which sadly didn’t survive the post, I think the postman was playing football with the package) and it makes me smile every time I see it. It doesn’t quite fit in with the pastel theme of the outfit but I couldn’t wait any longer to wear it! Next on my list is this amazing Runaway Fox wooden cat cuts necklace
These photos are another set that Ben took for me, he’s been choosing which photos I post lately as well as I’m really struggling with body image right now and learning to accept my body at a healthy weight. I’m getting there, slowly but surely with the help and support of my family, friends and boyfriend and I’m looking forward to living a healthy and active life. Recovery hasn’t been easy and it’s still a massive struggle now, but the benefits make it so worthwhile and I’m never, ever going back to a life of anorexia- for the first time in almost twelve years I feel free and this period of not being ok with how I look will pass. Thank you to every single one of you who have supported me from the start, I’m almost at the end of this journey now and you’ve all given such incredible encouragement and advice.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to get quite so personal there, I get carried away sometimes. Feel free to skim over any such posting from me.

Sarenza Sunday- Opening Ceremony

Correct me if I’m wrong but I do believe Opening Ceremony are a fairly new brand to arrive on Sarenza. Either way they are a brand I can see myself becoming fast obsessed with; I know other bloggers who already are! the latest arrivals on the site have got me seriously wishing I was rich and are getting me really quite excited for the Summer.
The “Jindo High” comes in two colourways. I’ve fallen for the greeny/yellow version but they are also available in a classic black with a textured heel. Sadly for me these won’t be a pair of sandals I’ll be sporting over the Summer, I cannot afford £267.90 for anything let alone a pair of shoes but I can still admire from afar.
Move over ankle boot obsession, I’m all for the chunky heel strappy sandal- a shape that reminds me of the 1990s, although things have become a lot prettier and more creative since then in my eyes. What shoe style are you obsessing over for the Summer? I’ll check it out and get obsessed too!

Sarenza Sunday- Ugg?

I’ll hold my hands up and say I’ve always been a secret fan of Ugg Boots. I owned a pair many years ago before they became really “cool” and lived in them until the fell apart. I never did replace those boots- by then they had become too mainstream and expensive for my liking and didn’t really fit with my style, but I miss them and so do my feet.
Boots aren’t the point of this post though- over recent years Ugg have been expanding their repertoire, most of which has gone straight over my head. However I couldn’t help but take notice of a new arrival on Sarenza this week.
Something about the Atasha Stripe has grabbed me. I’m not sure if it’s the bright “tomato soup” colour, the nautical stripes or the perfect low wedge for Summer days but I’m fairly smitten. At £85 they are on the pricey side, but I’m willing to bet that a) they are the ultimate comfort sandal and b) they are made to last.
Does anyone have experience with Ugg’s foray outside of boots? I’d love to know if these are worth the investment. Sarenza has new arrivals dropping left, right and centre and these are just one pair of many that have caught my eye.

Coral Reef

Well, here I am wearing colour, again. Can you tell I am so excited for those warmer days? I’m really looking forward to Summer this year despite having no holiday plans. I just want to make the most of being back in full health with no broken foot or wonky back. In only six days time I’ll be heading back to work, where has the last five and a bit weeks since my operation gone? It baffles me but I’m not going to complain as each day brings us closer to Spring!
Dress: c/o Rare London | Shoes: Georgia Rose via Sarenza (old) | Jewellery: Anna Lou of London and Next
I LOVE this dress, it makes me happy just looking at it, with it’s bright colour and pretty floral halter neck. Coral isn’t a colour I’ve ever really tried, I didn’t see it working for me with red hair and pale skin but I think I’m converted. I got a bit carried away playing dress up and popped on these gold sparkly sandals too, I think I’m just embracing being able to do that now- I don’t think I ever got a chance to wear these shoes before I had my foot accident in Zara!
Rare have some really stunning dresses in stock right now, they’ve always been a brand I associate with getting dressed up, and with a wedding to go to this Summer I know where I’ll be looking when it comes to outfit shopping.
Are there any colours you’ve avoided only to find they actually suit you?
