Sarenza A-Z: Carvela

Week three of the A-Z of Sarenza and this week’s favourite is Carvela, another well known brand among the shoe lovers. What I love about this brand is the variety; between practical boots and killer heels (with some gorgeous summer sandals in the mix) there is something for everyone!

From top to bottom my favourites are:

Glam, £120. I don’t think the name could be any more apt, these are my perfect party shoe.

Kob, £85. Looking ahead to Summer (I promise it’s coming) and the huge prominence of pastels, these pretty sandals are on my wish list and the heel is just the right height for day time wearing.

Sasha, £128. Something a bit more practical for right now, I seem to be attracted to this style of boot this winter and the wedge heel makes these stand out a little more than the obvious flat version, and means they are ideal for a slightly more dressed up casual look.

Simon, £120. Simple Simon? Sometimes simple works as well as anything more fancy. I can see a lot of you loving these as much as I do.

Gladiolus, £91.70 (sale price). Glitzy enough to be current, neutral enough to be a classic…I’d call these the investment shoe of the bunch.

What do you think? Are you crazy for Carvela? Which pair gets your vote?

Happy Monday folks,
Have a great start to the week

Sarenza A-Z: Bertie

Week two of my Sarenza A-Z guide brings us to the letter B, it was a tough call with brands such as Buffalo, Bloch and Beyond Skin in the running but when push came to shove my winner was Bertie; a brand many fashion lovers will already be familiar with.

1. Latimer, £95…yes these are pricey and high but they are damn worth it. These are my latest acquisition from Sarenza and I love them so much.

2. Paget, £65. Every girl needs a perfect pair of flats, smart enough for work and soft enough for weekend shopping. I love the ox blood colour of these, and the leather looks SO soft.

3. Ss Chelsea, £92 in the sale. You’ve seen how much I live in my Yull chelsea boots, for an update on that classic add is some snakeskin and a wedge heel and I am smitten.

4. Zoona, £87.50 in the sale. For whatever reason, this year I am obsessed with this style of boot. It’s no wonder they made my list!

Bertie lovers, what is your favourite style? And which brand makes you B-list from Sarenza’s extensive selection?

Gotta love a bit of shoe browsing to brighten up a Monday morning.

I am a Sarenza brand ambassador, but I am doing these posts because I want to.

Sarenza A-Z: Ash

New year and a new feature for the blog, once again focusing on my new obsession (tights, tights who?) shoes; more specifically shoes from Sarenza, my new go-to for all things footwear.

Each week I’m going to pick my favourite brand for each letter of the alphabet, a guided tour of what I’m lusting after right now. This week, I’m starting with the blogger’s favourite, ASH

The Italian Brand Ash has quickly found its identity. A provocative hint of fun mixed in with a dose of rock has helped Ash grow in the brand we have all come to love. Ash prides itself on offering anything from chic trainers to evening shoes. In doing so they always ensure they have the right material for the right design for the right person. All of these small but relevant details help to seduce of you budding fashionistas”

1. Onyx. I first knew Ash for their leather sport shoes, but further probing led to the discovery they do some pretty killer heels, too! Currently 20% off at £136.00
2. Enigma, £146.30…I never said my taste was cheap! I’d call these a worthy investment, tough leather perfect for night and day. Swoon.

3. Poppy, a great transitional style for those dry winter days (glancing out of the window, today is not one of those days) and for strutting in to spring.

4. Vanna; the leather sports shoe that Ash does so well in goes with everything black. Still pricey at £147.20..but if like me you don’t actually partake in any sports bar shopping (that totally counts, right?) then these should last a lifetime! I’m a firm believer that once your feet stop growing, more expensive shoes are a worthy investment!

5. It must be noted that Ash create some pretty fabulous accessories too. At over £250, the Barbara bag might have to stay firmly on the lust list, but there’s nothing wrong with admiring from afar!

I don’t yet own any shoes by Ash, but I’d love to hear from those that do. Are they a worthy investment? Which pair/s are you coveting?

Shoe Alphabet, yay or nay? Who makes it on to your “A” list?

P.S. good luck to all those braving the elements and going back to work today!

Shop the sales; Sarenza

And as if by magic, the onslaught of sales, online and instore reach fever pitch. If, like me you quite frankly can’t be arsed to leave the house and face the crowds then you might be spending your Boxing Day recovering from festive feasting and browsing the best of the online bargains…
I’m planning to do a few sales spotlights, but my first just HAS to go to my favourite site for shoes ever…Sarenza

1. Jeffrey Campbell Areas £65.70. It’s no secret that I adore JC shoes, and this orange pair are divine. I have something very similar and got so many compliments on the colour when I wore them.

2. I picked a pair of these as part of my prize for the blogger competition; Stone by Jeffrey Campbell, £86.80 might look high, but these are so comfortable and the two tone colour scheme means they go with everything. If your going to invest in one pair of shoes from Sarenza, I would suggest these!

3. Party season might be ending, but that’s no excuse not to snap up these sexy Dune Held shoes…still expensive at £76.00 but a worthy investment. I own some Dune glittery heels and managed to dance the night away and come home without crippled toes!

I’ve limited myself to three top picks, because I could be here all day. If you fancy taking a break from forced family small talk and mince pies, take a look at Sarenza and let me know what you’ll be snapping up!

Orange

Orange is a colour I so often overlooked, probably up until as recently as this summer, when all of a sudden I was drawn inexplicably towards it. When I saw these orange Jeffrey Campbell boots on Sarenza whilst spending my prize voucher, I new that without a doubt they had to be mine.

The trouble with orange shoes? What to wear them with! Yesterday I teamed them with a simple jumper dress from Next,
and I am sure that if I was in possession of a pair of jeans that fit me, then that would work too…but otherwise, damn, it’s a fairly awkward colour to pair things with, right?!

How would you wear orange shoes? Inspire me. PLEASE!
