Jumper c/o Blue Inc
Cords: New Look
Boots from Sarenza
Bracelet c/o Rubys by Design
I’m kind of getting in to embracing more casual attire these days, it took me a while to come round to it but sometimes it’s called for and appreciated. I can’t even remember which day I wore this outfit, this week has all merged in to one long blur but it doesn’t matter (and it’s been a good week so I forgive it for being so indistinct)

How pretty is this bracelet? It was a gift to me from the lovely Jade, the girlfriend of someone I work with and I’m besotted with the colour scheme. Jade runs a jewellery making business called Rubys by Design and creates some super stunning pieces, I urge you to check it out. Now.

I can’t believe it is Friday, again. This time last week the world was one big ghost town after our deluge of snow and now the snow is melting (hurrah) and we’re at another weekend. It’s been a crazy week for me, so much progress in terms of walking and general progression, I feel like I’m on one big happiness high…so long January blues (and nearly so long January!)

How has your week been?

Have sparkly Christmas with Astley Clarke

Modern Love Bracelet with Amethyst, £125

Shine Stud Earrings, £75

Lucky Cat Friendship Bracelet, £145

Small Bunny Love Ring by Hillier, £395

Wild Rose Cosmos Bolsena Bracelet, £150

Aided and abetted by the gorgeous Polly my magpie tendencies have gone in to over-drive lately and I’ve found myself spending a frankly insane amount of time browsing the Astley Clarke website. If and when I win the lottery I will be treating myself to this little lot…well, a girl can dream right?! I’ve earmarked the cat bracelet as a little treat for myself when I reach my target weight; health and well being are the main rewards but a little self bribery doesn’t go amiss…
I’m also crazy for the Bolsena bracelets, especially the wild rose one; pastel arm candy perfection.

Take a little peek at Astley Clarke for yourself and let me know what you’re coveting (but don’t blame me if you get hooked too…)

scruffy in pink

You know, even with the wide variety of beautiful women’s clothing out there I still cannot resist the lure of jeans and a jumper especially when the weekend rolls around. With the weather being so vile on Saturday I could think of nothing that fitted the bill better than my faithful Oasis jeans (considering never buying them anywhere else!) and this old New Look jumper. The Docs were a BIG mistake, the sound effects from my foot as I battled to get them on were enough to render me nauseous and dizzy, and the pain…well, yeah. Lesson learnt. They have been banished for a few more weeks yet.

How cute is my little necklace from Wolf and Moon? I’ve been eyeing them up for a while and finally decided to treat myself as a little reward. I can’t get over how sparkly it is and it got so many compliments when I wore it to work.

I did feel a bit of a scruff wearing this outfit, but at the same time it was warm and comforting. Comfort wins over style most days for me, and weekends have to be more comfortable than most!

Does your style vary at the weekends?
Where is your staple for jeans?

Dress c/o MotelRocks.com, Cardigan from New Look and Steve Madden shoes c/o Sarenza

I posted these shoes on my “shoes of the week” feature a couple of weeks back and became determined to own a pair when I next had the chance to place a Sarenza order. I had a moment of doubt once I’d clicked confirm, I wasn’t sure how they’d look in the real world or if they would be comfortable; well, they look better than on the website and are more comfortable than I could have imagined. I’m calling them my healing shoe as the supportive nature has pushed my foot back in to a natural position whilst wearing them which will help speed up the recovery process (even if it does bloody hurt). I got so many compliments on them when I wore them to work on Friday, including from a 94 year old lady…
The bright pink sole is a winner, it helped break up an otherwise rather dull outfit. As you can tell, it was rather early morning when I took these photos and the lighting was not playing ball.

You can just about see in the photos that I am wearing a necklace, too, which was sent to me via the lovely Naive Melodies, home to handsourced and handmade jewellery for all. This necklace is possibly my new favourite thing ever, the cat lady in me is in heaven. Want one for yourself? It will cost you £11 minus the 15% discount you’ll get when you use the discount code DAISY15

I hope you are all enjoying a lovely, relaxing weekend. Pub lunch with the family for me today; bring it on!
