#FreeYourFeet with Clarks

Summer has finally arrived and now seems like the perfect time to tell you about a fantastic instagram competition that Clarks are running…
They want to get everyone talking about getting their feet out and getting their toe revealing sandals on. The competition, currently running on Instagram, is asking people to tweet pictures of their shoes with the hashtag #FreeYourFeet for a chance to win £500 worth of Mrs&Mrs Smith vouchers, and £150 worth of Clarks shoes.


 My feet got freed in these gorgeous sandals sent c/o Clarks from their Summer range available now. There is something so liberating about bare toes in warm air…let’s hope it lasts!

pin to win with Lovarni

Happy Saturday guys! Avoiding the miserable weather this weekend? How about entering this fabulous pinterest competition with fashion shop Lovarni?

You could win a stylish item from the Lovarni collection if you enter our latest give-away. All you have to do is ‘Pin’ an image from our online store for one of our chosen celebs.

Just simply pick a celebrity from the above image and have a browse on the Lovarni store and choose an item that you feel they would look great in. Whether it’s a dress for the ever glamorous Kim Kardashian, a pair of jeans for the unique Fearne Cotton, or perhaps a sparkly number for Miss Amy Childs? We want to know what you would choose if you were to dress one of these famous faces.

Sunglasses Shop- review and giveaway (or, it’s never too late for shades!)

A couple of weeks ago I had an e-mail from the lovely folk at Sunglasses Shop  asking me if I’d like to work with them as a blogger.
Well damn, there’s an offer and a half! Sunglasses Shop is a mecca for shade lovers, stocking a huge variety of brands and a section dedicated to celebs in shades for a bit of extra inspiration!

Of course there is the brands such as Ray-Ban that everyone knows and loves as well as many, many more including and not limited to; Oakley, Chanel, D&G, Dior, Guess and Michael Kors.

I was offered a pair of glasses for review purposes and picked this blingtastic Guess pair in Black as a lover of the cat eye shape on me (one of few that doesn’t swamp my facial structure!)
I was impressed at the amount of information on the website when it came to selecting my sunnies; an indepth guide to help you pick the perfect pair for your face shape, hairstyle and usual daily style!

I honestly cannot fault the service at Sunglasses Shop; the order arrived the day after it was placed, securely packaged in a sealed and signed for box and well protected inside. I LOVE these glasses so much, from the leopard print case to the sturdy well made design..I certainly don’t feel I’ll be trailing bits of bling as I walk!

The folk at Sunglasses Shop are kindly offering a reader of my blog a pair of sunglasses too. Together we picked The Revolver Sunglasses in black from funky and affordable brand Le Specs

To enter all you need to do is pop along to Sunglasses Shop facebook page, give them a “like” and post “Revolver Sunglasses” on their wall. Then head back to the blog and leave me a comment letting me know you’ve done this and leave me a way to contact you if you win!

An outfit for £50? It can be done!

Over the weekend I recieved an e-mail from fashionvouchers.com challenging bloggers to create an outfit for £50 or less from boohoo.com
Now BooHoo isn’t exactly expensive, but it did take a bit of doing to meet the £50 budget!

A bit of browsing later and I came up with a simple and chic outfit that is made even more bargainous as each piece is versatile enough to go with other wardrobe basics; sometimes the trouble with a cheap outfit is that it really is a wear once kind of thing.

1. Orla Button detail shift, £8

2. Cheska black patent Chelsea Boots, £20

3. Coco patent structured top handle shopper, £20

Thank heavens for clearance sections, the first place I check in any shop both in the real world and online!

KIA Dubstep Contest Euro 2012

  If Twitter is anything to go by, I know there are a fair few football fans among you lot; and probably even more of you who love to dance…well how about combining both and entering the Kia Dubstep Competition for your chance to win tickets to the opening match of Euro 2012 and the chance to win the grand prize of a brand new Kia car?!


Sound tempting? Well, here’s what you need to do:
Pop along to the facebook app and click “Like” for the full instructions. There are a few guidelines/rules to follow, as highlighted below…

  • Your entry does not have to be amazing… but you do need to make a genuine dance attempt! Be creative, don’t take yourself too seriously and most importantly, have fun!
  • All entries must have the dubstep tune from DJ Flux Pavilion “I Can’t Stop” within their entry. This is the song you are dancing to!
  • Participants can enter alone or as a team (there is no limit to participants) but please keep in mind that a maximum of 2 can claim the prize to Euro 2012.
  • Minors (under the age of 18) are not permitted to qualify for selection as one of the finalists but they can contribute to the video.
  • The 8 finalists will win a trip to Euro 2012 that will include flights, hotels and a ticket to watch the Euro 2012 opening match in Warsaw, Poland.
  • The grand prize winner will receive a new Kia Picanto.
  • The competition will end on May 13th so ensure all entries are in before then!
