Easter with Lush

There has been a distinct lack of Lush goodness on my blog over the years, I always felt like I was missing out as after a few years of obsessive usage I developed an allergy to some of the products that meant I couldn’t even walk past a shop without coming up in an angry red rash. Thankfully I seem to have outgrown that now and around the festive period I discovered that once again I can indulge in my obsession- just with a little more caution than before.

With Easter now rapidly approaching I thought now was high time to showcase some of the fabulous products Lush have to offer as an alternative to chocolate from the Easter Bunny. Now, I love my chocolate, but I like to think the Easter Bunny might do a little shopping outside of a supermarket too!

I think this is such a fun and vibrant collection from Lush (as one would except from the brand). I have already purchased the Hoppity Poppity bath bomb (£2.50) a few weeks ago when I was in need of a little pick me up and it’s such a fun addition to a bath, if you can bear to break up the cuteness!
Other notable products are: The Golden Egg (£3.75) a bath bomb melt that smells like honey toffee and gives everything a golden glow. Somewhere over the Rainbow soap (£4.25/100g) which looks certain to brighten up any bathroom. The candy floss scented Fluffy Egg (£2.95) apparently smells like candy floss, I think this is next on my purchase list! The pink Immaculate Eggception (£6.95) gives you three products in one neat, seasonal package, and last but by no means least the adorable Bunch of Carrots (£5.95) which probably don’t count as one of your five a day, sadly!
What do you think of the Easter collection from Lush? I’ve earmarked the Fluffy Egg as my next purchase and I’m hoping the Easter Bunny is also very generous. What other products from Lush do I need to try? It’s been so long since I’ve really been able to use them that I’m very much out of the loop!

  1. They are cute! To be honest with you though, it is more their face cream, cleaners, exfoliaters and shower gels I’m interested in rather than the soaps and bath bombs, they are products I have more call for. X

  2. They always trick me with their realistic look fruits!

  3. I love their seasonal/limited bath bomb collections! I bought a fair few from the Valentines range that I’m still working through though so I don’t know if I’ll pick up much of the easter line…maybe just one..or two…or….oh I’m going to end up with the lot aren’t I? haha!

I very very rarely have baths so I love getting a bath bomb as a once-in-a-blue-moon treat. I used to buy their moisturisers and face scrubs regularly but they’re just so expensive 🙁 xx

  5. This post makes me want to go on a LUSH Easter spree! Love the sound of these.

  6. Aww I’m in love with LUSH after reading this! They’ve nailed Easter, especially loving the look of the oh too cute carrots and pretty rainbow soap. And how divine does The Golden Egg look! I agree, the collection is so fun and vibrant and I’m so happy your allergy is allowing you to indulge in LUSH once again 🙂

LUSH seem to be getting better and better and I’m ashamed to admit I haven’t really tried anything from there yet! Finally last week I went and bought Phoenix Rising; “a mystical shimmering purple and green bath bomb which rises in the water on a cloud of exotic spice fragrance”- sounds very dramatic, can’t wait to try! <3

The carrots are so cute! Luckily I don’t have to miss out on getting a Lush fix as there is one in central SF, though I don’t know if they’re that big on Easter over here as we don’t get a Bank Holiday for it…
