ASOS x Disney = Awesome

What do you get when your favourite online retailer joins forces with the creator of the most famous characters ever? A kickass collection of accessories, that’s what you get! ASOS have joined forces with Disney to create an exclusive collection of Minnie Mouse ears that are perfect for festival season!
As a child who never went to Disneyland I have found myself, as an adult with a serious yearning for a pair of Minnie Mouse ears so this collection is a sure fire winner in my eyes. With a range of designs to suit all personalities (I’ve just featured my top three here) and a timeless relevance to fashion I predict this head gear will be a sell out so act fast! I may not be heading to any festivals this Summer but I don’t see that as a reason not to wear novelty hairbands, do you?
Would you wear one of these? Who is your all time favourite Disney character? Mine is probably Minnie herself, although I have a penchant for the Disney Princesses- as anyone who followed my Kinder Egg collection madness will know!
Available on ASOS now.

Instalife

Welcome to the lastest edition of Instalife; another round-up of the happenings in my life, with a hefty dose of cats and once again showcasing my inability to have a social life. Click the images to enlarge them, I haven’t bothered to caption them this month as they are all pretty self explanatory!
Link me up to your Instagram round-ups…maybe one month I’ll have some pictures from outside my own home to share!

Sarenza Sunday: Pretty Ugly

This Summer it’s all about the ugly shoes. Clumpy, almost orthopaedic styles reign supreme and I’m really quite liking it. At first I couldn’t be convinced, seeing lifeless pictures of cumbersome sandals just didn’t do it for me…but after seeing these same styles pop up on bloggers everywhere I really started to like this trend and I’ve found myself scouring Sarenza for my perfect pair.
I think the Josy by Eden sandal (£55.50) is about as perfect as it gets when it comes to my ugly shoe taste. I wouldn’t normally be drawn towards a white pair, but I think pale colours work better than harsh black for this style. The heel is the perfect height for every day wear and I could see myself wearing these with everything from a floral dress to a pair of slouchy boyfriend jeans.
I think the white of these also leaves endless scope when it comes to pedicure polish choice. If you’re having a hard time narrowing down what hue to choose to compliment your footwear then check out Sarenza’s handy guide…a must see for shoe and beauty addicts alike!
What do you think of the ugly shoe trend? Are you a fan of matching your nail polish to your shoes/accessories?
