Well,
I’m back from my week off of blogging and feel so much better for it. It’s been a wonderful week of sunshine  and quality time spent with the boy and just generally getting my head together. The result is I feel ready to be back here, more confident and hopefully with some fresh ideas.
I have so much love for this dress from She Likes it’s perfect for slinging on for a chilled out day and the shape is really flattering. Clearly I have a bit of an addiction to skater style dress- time to experiment a bit more perhaps? I’m in the process of getting a healthier body and with that I want to embrace new curves and learn to show off and love a new shape.
Anyway,
nothing too deep for a first post back- how has everyone been?
I’ll be able to catch up with everyone’s blogs on Tuesday and Wednesday as I have a minor op booked for my poorly foot and orders to rest up for a day after. What more excuse to spend a day blog reading does a girl need?

#FreeYourFeet with Clarks

Summer has finally arrived and now seems like the perfect time to tell you about a fantastic instagram competition that Clarks are running…
They want to get everyone talking about getting their feet out and getting their toe revealing sandals on. The competition, currently running on Instagram, is asking people to tweet pictures of their shoes with the hashtag #FreeYourFeet for a chance to win £500 worth of Mrs&Mrs Smith vouchers, and £150 worth of Clarks shoes.


 My feet got freed in these gorgeous sandals sent c/o Clarks from their Summer range available now. There is something so liberating about bare toes in warm air…let’s hope it lasts!

Sarenza Sunday (on a Saturday)

Meet the ideal Summer flat shoe- cute and bright enough to wear every day, but being made from plastic (a sophisticated jelly shoe perhaps) you won’t ruin them if we get a typical sudden Summer downpour.
The shoe goes by the name Joleey and costs £50 from Ted Baker at Sarenza. I love both the green and the pink versions but oddly for me I think I’m more drawn to the green pair (people who know me sit down now!). I’m loving Ted Baker things at the moment- there are some seriously covetable dresses out there and I treated myself to a purse with my birthday money…
I usually do this post on a Sunday but I have a couple of other posts I want to get up before my week long blogging break which will run Tuesday-Tuesday whilst my parents away and I have my boyfriend here. Thank you for the suggestions of what you’d like to see on the blog when I come back…keep them coming and have a wonderful, sunny weekend!
