Question Time

A few people mentioned me doing a Q&A type post and seeing as today I have no other ideas for a blog post I figured why not?
So, go ahead; ask me your burning questions and I’ll answer them on another post at the end of the week.
Have fun

sarenza sunday- tryffle

The Sarenza may still be going strong with some amazing bargains (and an extra discount this weekend) but I’m jumping ahead and homing in on the new arrivals, namely the fabulously titled Tryffle by Steve Madden, £80.70, available in black and cognac.
I declare these the perfect day time wedges in either colour- wear them with everything from denim to lace you’re bound to get your moneys worth out of  these.
What do you think? Did you grab any bargains in the Sarenza sale? I’m so in love with my Ted Baker beauties!

something kinda new

I got my hair done on Thursday after work,
an all over top up of my now signature red with flashes of bright blonde underneath, designed to show when my hair is in loose waves as it is for 99% of the time.
A much needed trim also happened, seriously, I can’t believe I never used to go to the hairdressers- now I’m there every 6/8 weeks like clockwork.
I’m enjoying having a semi new look, it’s not drastic, but I like it and it’s something that suits my low maintenance styling style- I’m such a wash and go kind of girl; my routine is literally wash, scrunch mousse through, spray with a sea salt texture spray and go go go.
What else should I try?

Sunglasses c/o Pret a Voir
Dungarees: New Look
Tee: Uniqlo
Shoes: Matalan
Well, here’s a trend I never saw myself buying in to- the dungarees one. I spent weeks admiring them on other bloggers thinking they looked great but I really didn’t think I’d pull them off myself, or be brave enough to try.
In the end I caved. This pair from New Look make surprisingly good workwear teamed with a plain tee from Uniqlo (hello new staples, I want every colour) and some flat shoes.
The sunglasses were worn for travelling purposes, plus with a hint of blue skies I couldn’t wait to road test my new babies- prescription Rayban New Wayfarers in a rather snazzy purple, kindly sent to me by the folks at Pret a Voir who sell a vast array of sunglasses and glasses…one day I’ll finally own a pair of Chanel Sunglasses but for now I am indulging my less chic and more quirky side with these.
It’s Friday O’Clock which means a long day at work and then venturing off to stay with the boy until Sunday. Hopefully at some point next week I’ll get a proper chance to catch up with everyone’s blogs; this week has proven to be a busy one, and so far next week looks ever so slightly calmer, phew!
Have you braved dungarees yet?

Pencil Edge veil

Dress : Idress
Wedding Veil: bestweddingveil
Bracelet: Gift
It’s prom season and I have serious envy of all the girls dressing up right now. Back in the day when I had my year 11 leavers ball dress choices were both limited and expensive and I ended up not 100% loving what I wore and feeling guilty that I never wore it again (it was a brown silk maxi for anyone who’s wondering). This dress from Chi Chi may not be something I’d have chosen as a 16 year old who was a bit of a tomboy but it suits my current tastes perfectly. Anyone on a last minute hunt for a dress could do far worse than visit this amazing site, my dress retails at £49.99 which compared to the £100 I spent on my once worn Monsoon number is a total bargain- I’m also seeing it as potential for any summer weddings or posh parties too!
Bonus points to the weather and new patio table for letting me get some outside photos too. I would of worn this all day if I had somewhere to be, I love dressing up and feeling like a princess.
What was your prom dress like? Or if you’re shopping for prom right now, what have you got your eye on?
