Oh so Gorgeous- Limited edition from Lindt

Hands up if you’re a fan of Lindt Lindor chocolates?
Thought so…that’d be most of you then, right.
I’ve tried most of the varieties over the years; original, caramel, dark chocolate, coconut and now the limited edition stracciatella truffles.
Or, if like me you don’t really know what that translates to, it’s essentially cookies and cream. Right up my street!
I was ever so kindly sent a box of these to sample and believe me, it was a hard task not digging in right away! I managed somehow to save them until Ben was over the other night and between us we gave them a thorough taste test and our expert opinion.
These are seriously decadent little balls of goodness. More cream than cookie with a chocolate biscuit studded white chocolate exterior with a smooth and creamy white chocolate praline filling that is in one word, heavenly.
Oddly I didn’t find these overly sweet which is a good thing really as I wanted to eat as many as possible before Ben grabbed the lot!
Included in the parcel was two tiny lindt gold bears, you know, those adorable little creatures that pop up this time every year along with all the other festive offerings.
But did you know that 10% of all profits on these teeny tiny 10g bears goes to Children in Need? What a perfect excuse to treat yourself.
Ben demanded I show you the after shot of un-wrapping a bear…
Needless to say we approved of these too! Nobody does chocolate quite like Lindt. I’m a forever fan and will be enjoying what I saved of the Lindor balls later on tonight as a treat for surviving another manic week (any excuse, any excuse!)
Are you a Lindt fan? What’s your favourite variety?

Cat Lady smartens up

Blouse: Monki at ASOS
Skirt c/o Great Plains
Boots: New Look
How gorgeous is this sequin detail midi skirt from Great Plains? It’s got fantastic potential for being dressed up for a night out, as much as I can smarten it up for work like today or dress it down with a jumper for weekends. In other words, my dream skirt. I love the midi length too, I find short skirts tricky with my height and I have a tendency to fall over my own feet in a maxi skirt. I expect I’ll be living in this from here on out.
I’ve never really paid a lot of attention to Great Plains in the past but now I know how great it is I’ll be paying regular visits to the website. It’s on the pricier side of my budget for clothing but the fit and quality are fantastic and there are some stunning pieces on there right now.
I couldn’t resist wearing my Cat blouse to work today too. I now own so many cat related things, which is odd because up until a year or so ago I wasn’t massively bothered by our feline friends…but now, well, I just can’t resist anything with them on. I’m doomed to be that nutty old lady sat on the bus covered in cat hair aren’t  I?
Did everyone have a good bonfire night? I forgot to ask yesterday! I didn’t venture out to any displays but I have a great view from out of my window so didn’t miss out and managed to stay warm and dry. There was a distinct lack of sparklers though. I love sparklers!

Good for you Gifting with Re-Uz

Before I get in to this post allow me to share a little more about the brand, Re-Uz that I’m featuring today…
In 2010 two aspiring designers sought a re-usable carrier that was stylish and not too expensive that would be a great plastic bag replacement.
Putting pen to paper they decided to design their own carriers that are not only environmentally friendly but bang on trend so that doing your bit doesn’t sacrifice any style statement. A keen eye and a lot of hard work built Re-Uz into a successful collection of Re-usable ranges.
The parent company, Josoblu Ltd which also includes sister brands momymoo and ringArose was set up and moved to the current premises in a quiet part of South West London and have since expanded into other areas of the industry. The Re-Uz range includes a wide range of bags in a variety of eye-catching prints and patterns.
Recognised by the travel industry for its practicality and versatility our bags are now stocked by airlines, museums, gift shops as well as department stores in the UK and further afield.
Having recently recieved an e-mail about the brand I decided that they’d be a perfect feature in one of my many gift ideas posts.
I know many of us (myself included) likes to give a gift that does the world some good and hese bags are perfect for that. Additionally the four I am featuring in this post all cost under £25 so
 won’t break the budget either…
Each design comes in a variety of prints making them ideal for all ages both genders. Brilliance.
The carrier bag costs £6.99 and folds away in a handy pouch.

The messenger bag costs £12.99 and can also be folded away.

The backpack costs £14.99, folds away and is my favourite style of the lot. It’d be so handy to have a backpack on hand sometimes!

The purse costs £24.99
I’m yet to decide who I’m buying these for and which print is my favourite but I might have to treat myself to a backpack…all in the name of research, of course!
(Actually, I lied…the kitty cats print is my favourite!)
Take a peek at the website, which style and print would you be wishing for?

Tracking down the elusive LBD

Every girl should own a little black dress or two. Me? I own several from classic shifts through to sequin skaters. Does that stop me wanting more? Heck no, especially when websites like blackdresses.co.uk exist.
As the same suggests, this is a website that sells only little black dresses. They cover everything from day wear to vintage style flapper dresses and there is something for all tastes (and all budgets!)
Below are just a few of my favourites.
Beaded Lace Flapper Dress- £79 (and top of my wishlist, hello gorgeous!)

Pinktuck Lace Dress- £55

Retro Bodycon Dress- £45

Sequin V Neck Dress- £33

I think the concept of the website and the site itself is brilliant- it takes all the hassle out of finding “the dress” by sorting everything in to categories. They also offer free UK delivery and returns which wins major brownie points and there is a price match promise too.
I’m smitten.
And obsessed with that flapper dress.
My life is an endless wishlist right now. I blame Twitter and blogging personally.
How many little black dresses do you own? Have any on the website caught your eye?

Perfectly Pure

Well, there’s no hiding from it any longer. Winter’s cold weather has arrived and with it the desire to wrap up in all things woolen.
As usual I’ve been having a little browse online and compiled a little wishlist from the oh so chic Pure Collection website.
I’m a scarf fiend and this pastel cashmere beauty is just begging to be worn day in and day out. Cost per wear? Practically nil. Actual cost? £59.25

Cardigans are something seriously worth investing in as far as I’m concerned. A good cashmere cardigan will last years and this soft grey boyfriend style is a classic. £134.25.

Sparkle and cashmere in a go with anything colour? Next time I have a spare £150 I’m spending it on this! Sadly that’ll never happen but that’s why it’s a wishlist right?

I can’t resist a good dress, and this really is a good ‘un. £111.75

HELLO classical coat perfection. At £186.75 I really AM wishing here but swoon. I love it.

So, this might be one of my pricier wishlists but it’s probably also one of my most sensible ones in terms of cost per wear of items. None of these will date and will last the test of time. Pure Collection is a shop I’ll be browsing for when I have some spare pennies and want to buy some cosy classic sweaters or a really special coat.
Anything caught your eye?
