Dress: Vero Moda @ Asos
Tights: New Look
Shoes: c/o Ellos
For some reason I never remember this dress. It was an impulse buy bought super cheap in the sale when I was really too small to carry it off. I like how it fits now, it gives me a waist and the colours are fun. It’s not my usual style, not really, but it works and served a purpose for work the other day when inspiration was running dry.
I’m having my usual between seasons “I hate my wardrobe” moment. I lack basics (despite my vows to buy some) and I’ve got rid of so many clothes since moving on with my life that things look a little lacking.
This calls for some serious shopping,
but that tends to involve some serious cash…I don’t know how other bloggers do it…work full time I guess,
which I’d love to do but it just isn’t an option at this moment in time. Oddly, I seem to have a problem with spending money on myself, unless it’s in my paypal account I’m reluctant. This could be viewed as a good thing but it frustrates the hell out of me at times. Anyone else like this? It always seems safer to save and store it away for another day.
Funny how the mind works eh? What are some of your quirks?
TGIF? So ready for the weekend although this week has been “blink and you miss it” fast. Ten hours at work and I’m free for two whole days. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow evening and seeing The Full Monty stage production with my girl friends, colleagues went Monday night and said it was fantastic.

CyberCandy: Happy Birthday Milka!

This fine looking specimen is my latest product to review from sweet enablers Cybercandy who sent me this special edition Milka bar in celebration of the brand’s 111th Birthday.
I’ve mentioned before my love of Milka chocolate, I don’t care how much 85% fine dark chocolate  offered up wave Milka’s creamy, sweet goodness under my nose and I’m a happy bunny. Perhaps growing up with Dutch family influences this- Holland, and all of Europe is a treasure trove of weird and wonderful flavours (if you get the chance, try the Milka with Tuc cracker for sweet and salty heaven). This bar was up to the usual standards of the brand, and the white chocolate cow was a nice touch. They probably could have gone a bit more overboard with the novelty factor but why fix what isn’t broke?
You can buy the bar, and many other exciting varieties here
Are you a fan of Milka? What’s the best bar you’ve tried?

Kiki’s Boutique

Watch: Olivia Burton c/o Kiki’s Boutique
I’m a sucker for a pretty (watch) face so when Kiki’s Boutique got in touch to introduce themselves and offered to send me an item of my choice I knew exactly what to pick. This watch by Olivia Burton (check out more gorgeous designs here) arrived today and the photos both on the website and those I’ve taken simply do not do it justice. Hello smitten.
Kiki’s Boutique is a family run business which stocks the likes of Emily and Fin, Kinky Knickers and Irregular Choice to name just a few.
With so many gorgeous items to choose from it’s hard to know where to start but when you have made your decision then Kiki’s Boutique is offering a generous 15% off for readers of this blog when you use the code DAISY15 at the checkout,
the code is valid until the 31st March 2014 so you have plenty of time to make your minds up!
What’s the first item that caught your eye?

Dress: c/o Motel Rocks
Boots: Friis and Co at Sarenza
Bracelet: Maggie Angus
A fail safe dress for a Sunday pottering about town, this Motel dress can do no wrong in my eyes. It’s stuck by me through thick and thin, flattering whatever form my body chooses to take. It’ll be a sad day when it’s old, holey and no longer decent (but hopefully that’s a way away yet!)
Have I declared my love for Maggie Angus lately? Previous supplier of a ballroom dancer necklace for my Mum and *those* penguin earrings that always earn so much attention, she’s come up trumps with her monochrome (yay) daisy (double yay) range and she was kind enough to send me one of the bracelets to wear with love and pride. You can view more of the collection, and the rest of her magical creations here…with the bracelets only costing £12 I feel the need to treat myself to the white version too so I can mix and match and stack them high.
How’s this week turning out for everyone? I kind of did jinx myself a bit by saying mine would be quieter, but not to worry, I’m busy with nice things. Today after my early start (I’ll never get used to leaving at 7am) I’m meeting my Grandad for lunch…fingers crossed the weather is as beautiful as it was yesterday, I was in such a grumpy mood until I stepped outside in the afternoon.
