black magic

Peacocks tee, Next skinny jeans, Friis & Company shoes c/o Sarenza.

Couldn’t resist these shoes in the Sarenza sale, a bargain at £33.50. I have decided that if I want to wear any vaguely sandal like shoes then they need to be a wedge; as mentioned on Monday, they are the ideal solution for keeping feet out of puddles!

These jeans are so old now…six or seven years I think. Shared between my Mum and I (I currently have ownership I think) they are the best fitting jeans I have ever found and I don’t think I could ever part with them.

Heard on the grapevine we might actually get some kind of summer after all…looks like my sunglasses post below saved us!

Happy Wednesday folk. Keep your chins up.

Super Sunglasses from Shadestation

You may have noticed a new advertiser on my sidebar lately…the rather fabulous shade station, sellers of all things sunglasses
With my holiday booked (yep, still banging on about it) I’m kind of obsessed with all things sunnies so thought I’d share my top picks from their vast selection by way of introduction!

From top to bottom:

Miu Miu, Rayban, Gucci, Marc Jacobs

I actually got my first pair of Raybans this year and I am hooked! Which pair is your favourite? If money were no object, what sunglasses would you choose?

Candy Striped

Miss Selfridge tee, Zara skirt, Dorothy Perkins tights, Toms.

I wore this on Sunday, a day that turned out to be un-expectedly glorious. Yesterday, by contrast, was not…it was like Monday AND Friday 13th all rolled in to one.

Still, onwards and upwards. Today is a new day!

How did your week start off? Sorry for such a brief post, there really isn’t much to chat about!

P.S. for the record, my choice would be the cake making masterclass!

fondant fancy

Asda George blazer (not on the website, but I saw this in the in-store sale yesterday!), Lilac lace dress from Glamorous, Tesco tights and Poetic License shoes from TK Maxx.

I wore this to work on Friday 13th, which depsite my fears based on how the week had been going, wasn’t too unlucky!
This dress always gets so many compliments, people seem to love the colour (and rightly so). The blazer also attracted it’s fair share of attention, I don’t think I’ve ever had so many patients comment on what I am wearing!

About to kick back and enjoy a relaxing Sunday. Weather aside, Trudi and I had a fabulous time celebrating her Birthday during the day and I expect I will catch all the gossip from her night out too!

What have you got up to this weekend?
