Nice one Noble!

I may not be the biggest technology geek out there, but what I do have I love and want it to look it’s best, so when I was sent the press release for Noble Macmillan’s latest offerings my “lustometer” went off the record! I am especially swooning over the delicious raspberry colour cosmetic case (£55) and the blossom kindle case £39.

They also do a pretty fine range of notebooks, and notebooks are one of my weaknesses; no matter how many I have, brand new and waiting to be written in I just can’t help myself when a pretty one crosses my path!

Here we have the everyday wish list mini notebook (£15) and the limited edition Eley Kishimoto fabric print journal (£69)… they might not be every day prices, but dammit they are gorgeous (and will last forever if you are anything like me and can’t bring yourself to mark a pristine notebook with random scribbles!)

All items, and a whole lot more can be found here and you can be assured that everything is made in England with love and pride. Each item comes beautifully wrapped in Noble Macmillan’s new signature midnight blue and cream boxes, tied with a cream grosgrain ribbon.

Are you a geek for stationary and leather goods? Which item would you pick?

in the pink (again)

H&M skirt, Peacocks Tee, Pretty Polly tights and Kate Kanzier shoes (too shiney to photograph well!)

It wasn’t that long ago that I last posted this skirt, but I love it so much and it’s one of those items that makes me feel brighter when I wear it. Considering it cost all of £3 from H&M I’d call it one of my top bargains…although nothing will top my £1.50 Anna Sui dress!

Mid-week, again…I like it when the week speeds by, and my weekend will be an extended one as I have a few days off work and won’t be going back till the following Thursday…I have a few things planned including trips to Birmingham and Bath! It feels strange to get excited about things again, but I plan to have a mini late Birthday celebration and treat myself to some things with the money I was given…I also want to throw a get together for my Birthday in early June, fingers crossed these crazy ebbs and flows of feeling sad/feeling ok will be easing by then.

How is your week going so far? Anything exciting going on?

Royal Mail get Fashionable?

I can’t say I ever imagined writing a blog post about stamps; but then Royal Mail go and do something like this and suddenly it makes perfect sense! For years I’ve mocked my Dad’s stamp collecting hobby…now I’m considering starting one myself!

ROYAL MAIL CELEBRATES GREAT BRITISH FASHION

Some of Britain’s most renowned fashion designers are being featured on ten new first class stamps. The stamps will be available from all Post Office Branches on 15th May

Hardy Amies, Norman Hartnell, Granny Takes a Trip, Ossie Clark, Tommy Nutter, Jean Muir, Zandra Rhodes, Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith and Alexander McQueen share a fashion showcase of stamps. The images featured on the stamps were shot by renowned fashion photographer, Sølve Sundsbø
Celebration of fashion in the UK dates back as far as 1693 with the publication of ‘Ladies Mercury’, the first ever specialist fashion magazine.

Will you be picking up some of these? I’ve only posted my four favourites; the others are just as fabulous!

sunshine for the soul

Uniqlo tee, ASOS shorts, Tesco tights and Converse c/o Sarenza
Not that you’d know it now, but Sunday was beautiful and I managed to get the first garden photos of the year. I wish now I’d embraced the weather a bit more and worn something at least a little bit summery; I spent the afternoon lazing in a deckchair in my Grandad’s beautiful garden feeling for once, relaxed. A quick look outside and it would seem that it really was a one off though, back to the winter apparell it is. Looking at photos of what I wore this time last year, it really has been a crappy Spring (in more than just the weather).
Still, an appointment yesterday has bought about hope that things can change…I’d love to hear people’s experiences of CBT.

Daisy Chain Dreaming: Joli from Jersey Peal

Sometimes not many words are needed to explain why your lusting after something, and this bright and beautiful “Joli” bracelets by Jersey Peal really doesn’t need much by way of explanation. Priced at a reasonable £49 I am especially coveting Frambois
