Daisy Chain Dreaming; bank holiday browsing.

Rainy Bank Holiday’s lend themselves perfectly to a spot of window shopping online; it worries me sometimes how quickly time passes by whilst I flit from one website to the next planning what I’d buy if only I had the funds!

1. Ok, so this one is for Mae and might actually get purchased; amazing cat activity centre from PetPlanet…check out that bargain price!

2. I saw this skirt in InStyle Magazine and decided I NEED it in my life. I’m trying to work out how best to juggle my finances to make it happen…all else fails, I have a Birthday at the end of the month!

3. Maggie Angus creates the most fabulous jewellery, this Hummingbird is new for S/S 2012 and I want it!

4. Rocket Dog floral heels from FYFO. I say no more.

5. My love for Zatchels continues, fluro and floral? Yes Please!

What are you craving right now?

Sarenza A-Z: M is for Melissa

I try to keep my weekly Sarenza posts focused on lesser known brands, but sometimes a new arrival from a much adored by bloggers brand needs a mention! I’m loving the Spring/Summer drop from Melissa even though my hatred of plastic shoes, until recently, ran deep.

From top to bottom; The Liberty style nails the neon trend in a subtle way and are perfect for Summer both abroad and in rainy old England (perk of plastic = waterproof). The Vivian Westwood/Melissa collaboration is much loved, and I’ve seen these gorgeous Lady Dragon shoes on some of my favourite blogging ladies (Jen, Maria…I’m looking at you!) which makes them all the more covetable…at £143.70 they are a fairly affordable way to do designer.
The name “Peace” is so apt for this hippie-chic wedges. I love the clashing bright colours and almost Missoni style print of the platform.
And finally, the ultimate holiday shoe? Lua III will be accompanying me if I venture overseas this Summer (which I fully intend to do) My only gripe? I can’t decide between coral or beige!

Are you a fan of Melissa shoes? Do you own any? Which pair has caught your eye?

Braving Orange

Dress; New Look, Top; H&M, Tights; Superdrug, Shoes; Jeffrey Campbell c/o Sarenza.

Orange is a colour I always assumed I couldn’t wear; I’m too pale and too naturally red headed to carry it off…but sometimes I get carried away by a bargain, and spying this dress in the New Look sale a couple of weeks ago I decided to give it a whirl…and you know what? I kinda like it!

Happy Easter everyone, I hope it’s a wonderful family and chocolate filled day (remember, calories don’t count on days like today..it’s a fact)

(Ben and Natalie, the photo of Mae is for you)

P.S. Sorry for the vast amount of kitty spam lately, we are besotted!

P.P.S. Handbag and Shoe giveaway ends tomorrow!

Feline Fine

Why I ever hesitated about getting these Leopard print Jordans from Motel I do not know; that and my other pair are hands down the best fitting/most flattering jeans I have ever owned. Teamed with “Winner” print tee, also from Motel (giveaway prize) and suede look ankle boots from New Look.

And it is with great pleasure I introduce Mae! Getting a photo of this little minx is HARD, she does not stay still! She’s a very welcome addition to our home though, and such a little character; she’s young and still growing out of that kitten stage; quite the contrast to the elderly Flash (r.i.p.)

More good news on the Nan front; she’s been moved to the brand new South Bristol Community Hospital which only opened Monday for intensive rehabilitation/physio. The difference in her for being out of the B.R.I. and in to somewhere to clean, new and all round impressive (with the friendliest nurses) was apparent even after an hour. It’s an amazing place and we have high hopes for her treatment there…she may not want to come home though,  private en suite room and an extensive menu…yeah, wow.

Happy Easter Weekend folks

Daisy Chain Dreaming: Tula

Tula is the little sister of bag brand Radley, I’ve always preferred the brand, it just feels a bit younger and fresher than the little leather dog (although some of Radleys latest products are GORGEOUS!)
I was sent the press release for Tula’s spring/summer range and just loved the simple, clean cut designs, bold shapes and the fact that you can get a top quality leather bag for under £150!

From top to bottom:

Betty small flapover across shoulder bag, £79
Talitha large flapover multiway, £139
Talitha large flapover tote, £149
Edie medium drawstring shoulder bag, £99 (my pick of the bunch!)

Tula bags are available online, here as well as in House of Fraser, John Lewis, Debenhams…to name a few!

Are you a Tula fan? How about Radley?
