Shorty

Jumper: Vila c/o MeeMee, Shorts: ASOS, Tights: Dorothy Perkins, Boots: Jeffrey Campbell c/o Sarenza.

This was Saturday’s attire, until I noticed the gaping hole on the waist of the shorts at least…I’m so accident prone, another one for the sewing pile!

Happy mid-week!

I’m a Cliche and I don’t Care!

Lack of internet this morning means no real post today, but I don’t care. I just want to take this chance to wish everyone who takes the time to read A Daisy Chain Dream a very Happy Valentines Day whether you believe in it or not.

You don’t need a specific day to tell someone how much you love and appreciate them, that should be everyday…but still…I just want to let you guys know that I love and appreciate you. Always.

Finders Keepers

Meet my latest style crush; just landed at MeeMee Aussie label Finders Keepers combine catwalk style with timeless shapes to create a totally covetable collection that has me hoping for that lottery win.

The Adelaide based label was founded in 2009 with the aim of bringing fresh, directional fashion to girls who want to make a style statement. The label’s popular signature styles are high-waisted shorts, playsuits and statement dresses in eye-catching prints and seasonal colours.

MeeMee’s spring Finders Keepers collection features attention grabbing dresses with drape and mesh detailing, luxe high waisted shorts and slick shirts that can be worn from day to night.

The Aussie label is a new addition to MeeMee, an online boutique for girls that love style and want to discover labels that aren’t available on the high street.

The photos in this post are my favourites from the selection available. Take a look at the new spring collection at www.meemee.com and let me know what you are craving…

(and don’t blame me for future skint-ness, please)

Sarenza A-Z: Georgia Rose

I don’t know whether to love or hate Sarenza for introducing me to so many new shoe brands; this week the letter G is represented by French brand Georgia Rose and their new season delights (not a boot in sight, I promise!)

1. Casanovita, £67…not brave enough for full on orange? Love the comfort of wedges? I think I just found you the perfect shoe…you can thank me later!

2. Magui, £75.70 a peep toe in sunshine yellow (also comes in array of other super bright colours) these have the perfect heel height for an everyday shoe and really…how can they not fill you with joy?

3. Maora, £67, I can’t get enough of sugary pastels this season and I don’t see why it should be limited to lusting over jeans and dresses.

4. Pantika, £152 because this girl can’t resist a bit of glitter. Pricey, yes? But take it from me, Georgia Rose shoes are comfort central and I think these would work for day AND night…which automatically doubles the value!

Have any Georgia Rose shoes caught your eye? What will your feet be wearing come Spring?

weekend love

These super soft skinny jeans from New Look* really have become a staple and have changed my attitude towards jeans completley. Previously something that left me feeling constricted and bloated, these are as comfortable to wear as leggings, but leave decency intact.

Worn with Mango jumper (so glad I snapped this up, I almost left it!) and those boots from Spartoo again this made a perfect uniform for a lazy Saturday.

(Speaking of Lazy Saturdays…was anyone else dissapointed with the lack of drama in take me out last night?)

Something else that made my Saturday that little bit more perfect was recieveing my blogger RAOK parcel from the lovely Rosie!

Organised by the wonderfully efficient Char who got it spot on when pairing us up! A lame-ass postman prevented Rosie getting her parcel yesterday but I hope she loves it just as much as I loved mine!

The For Your Eyes Only giveaway closes at 8pm tonight, so if you’ve been contemplating entering, now is your chance!
