bring me flowers

New Look dress, Dorothy Perkins tights, those boots from Spartoo, again. Bracelet…gift.

Worn for a pleasurable day of pug walking and shop browsing with my very best friend, we always end up having the most random adventures; generally involving supermarkets…this time we made detours to Boots (hello £5 Harajuku lovers perfume) and Matalan (gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous s/s new arrivals). Making the most of my second week off work…

Gratuitous pug photo, just because we’re bloggers, and bloggers love pugs, right?!

Random adventures with friends…where do you end up?

orange you glad?

Orange.

A colour I ignored completely for far too many years of my life, yet now I find myself more and more attracted to it when I see it in a shop. Perhaps I love the clash of it against my red hair, or maybe it’s just rebellion against too many years living in drab colours but right now I just can’t get enough (and of course it’s a real boost against these shorter daylight hours and constant grey skies)

Invest now and you’ll be ahead of the game for S/S12 too, which was ALL about the orange.

The fabulous studded bag is by Hayley Menzies

…now if you excuse me, I’m off to drown my sorrows in a vat of Tangerines.

Sarenza A-Z: Bertie

Week two of my Sarenza A-Z guide brings us to the letter B, it was a tough call with brands such as Buffalo, Bloch and Beyond Skin in the running but when push came to shove my winner was Bertie; a brand many fashion lovers will already be familiar with.

1. Latimer, £95…yes these are pricey and high but they are damn worth it. These are my latest acquisition from Sarenza and I love them so much.

2. Paget, £65. Every girl needs a perfect pair of flats, smart enough for work and soft enough for weekend shopping. I love the ox blood colour of these, and the leather looks SO soft.

3. Ss Chelsea, £92 in the sale. You’ve seen how much I live in my Yull chelsea boots, for an update on that classic add is some snakeskin and a wedge heel and I am smitten.

4. Zoona, £87.50 in the sale. For whatever reason, this year I am obsessed with this style of boot. It’s no wonder they made my list!

Bertie lovers, what is your favourite style? And which brand makes you B-list from Sarenza’s extensive selection?

Gotta love a bit of shoe browsing to brighten up a Monday morning.

I am a Sarenza brand ambassador, but I am doing these posts because I want to.

slouchfest

TK Maxx jumper, Next jeans c/o Mum’s wardrobe, Betty London boots c/o Spartoo.

Perfect Saturday uniform I think. Nothing signals “it’s the weekend” better than denim and a slouchy jumper.

Friday and Saturday both involved shopping; the dreg ends of the sales which resulted in a couple of rings from Topshop for £1.50 and £2.50 respectively and a burnt orange duffel coat in New Look reduced from £45 to £12.

It also involved the realisation that despite my best efforts, January blues have hit. Not amused. But keeping busy, doing nice things and making sure not to hide away avoiding both people and fresh air should get me through.

Happy Weekend…enjoy a lazy/productive Sunday
