Oh yes, it’s Friday and the end of the working week. Here’s what I wore today (excuse the darkness of the photos, it was before 7am!)

Leopard maxi skirt- £4 New Look sale
Velvet tee- £6 Next sale

Worn with wedge heel ankle boots and a cardigan.

So thats the first week of work over for me. To some 12 hours may seem like nothing…to me, it’s a marathon compared to what I’ve been able to do for the last five or more years!

Bring on next week!

Good Morning! Only two days until the weekend *hears a mass sigh of relief*

Thank you so much for the well wishes about work, so far it’s going brilliantly and I love it. The feeling of getting back in to a workplace has also given me a massive self confidence boost and a renewed vigour to get on with my life.

Today I’m wearing jeans sent to me by Vero Moda some time back. Until recently the button refused to do up, but the weight gain has started to re-disperse and I’m now able to rock them!

Work has also fuelled my “need” for new things…a bag, some shoes…it’s endless. But having spent what feels like a small fortune lately, I’m trying so hard to resist! I think I shall be saving for some shoes though. I’m sick of wearing flat boots to make walking in the wet weather do-able!

It was interesting to read the feedback on yesterday’s post. I’ll see what I can do about bigger pictures!
And as for all the praise, you ladies (and gents) make me blush!

Just Wondering

Working Girl

Just a super quick outfit post before I head off to work, I’m only in 2-5 today…clearly they are breaking me in gently. After this week I’ll be doing 3 x 4 hour shifts a week to make up the 12 hours, this week is rather manic however with pre-arranged appointments also having to fit in! Tomorrow I’m working 8:30-1pm, home for a quick lunch then back out to hang around at the doctors for a while and collect prescriptions (which takes about 25 million hours!)
Blogging/commenting will become a little less intense, but no-one’s gonna hate me if I don’t comment on *every* post I read, right?!

This is the skirt I bought in the River Island sale before Christmas! Love it! After my ASOS order the other day, I was really naughty and bought a dress I saw on the Peacocks site yesterday,
my local store is so small, so when I saw it in there today I was so shocked and just had to get it!

And here we go, back to normality pretty much…except today is a Bank Holiday and I am utterly confused by the days of the week.
The decorations are down, my brother has (sadly) got back to Leeds and tomorrow I join the masses in going back to work! Nervous and excited about that one, but mainly excited. I’m one of those people who LOVES to work and be doing something and with three four hour shifts a week, this is going to be perfect for the next four months.

Anyway,
here’s a couple of outfits…the first is from NYE day time (evening wear was PJs accessorized with a mug of hot chocolate) and the second is what I wore yesterday.

Floral dress + polka dot tights might just be my new favourite combination.

The floral shorts here were an absolute bargain from Clothing at Tesco sale, yesterday was the first time I’ve worn them (anyone else hopeless at getting round to wearing new purchases?) and it’s LOVE.

I also debuted my cute mouse ring that was in my Christmas Stocking!
