shirting the issue

I don’t even know how long I’ve had this H&M shirt dress; four years now maybe? I keep thinking I should get rid of it,
it doesn’t really fit with my current style and it’s not exactly fashion forward…but then, I get a day like yesterday and it’s suddenly the only thing I can think of that I want to wear.

Advance apologies if I’m a bit quiet on the blog commenting front for the rest of the week, I have three long days at work, as well as far too much to do at home (my wardrobe and desk have reached crisis point). At least the time will fly…it’ll soon be Saturday and time to chill out with Strictly and Xfactor (who else is delighted that Frankie has left?)

happy feet

I do have a bit of a soft spot for novelty socks. These came from Topshop and make me smile whenever I wear them.
Teamed with Next Skinny jeans and a Matalan jumper…I think most of my current wardrobe comes from Matalan!

I’ve been featured on the awesome Stolen Thunder’s blog! They did a little Q&A with me a while back and it’s just gone live! To celebrate, they are kindly offering my blog readers a generous 15% discount code, just enter CHAIN at the checkout. The code is valid for the next month, which is perfect timing for Christmas and party shopping! If you haven’t checked out their shop before, you truly MUST! Especially the gorgeous new heritage collection. Expect a wish list post soon!

This is the last time I’m going to ask for a cheeky tweet from you guys, I promise! If you haven’t done so already, I’d majorly appreciate it!

getting in the spirit

I’m sorry, I can’t help but feel a little bit festive!

Well done TK Maxx…well done.

budget chic

Recently, I’ve been in touch with the folk at chiara fashion…a site I’m not afraid to admit, wasn’t really on my radar until I saw it crop up on a few blogs over recent weeks.
I took a closer look, and after some browsing stumbled over some real gems? The above jumper and two dresses? Right on my wish list, and if I bought them all I would have spent less than £50!

The two dresses come in at £12.95 each and look as if they’d be smart enough for work, yet fun enough to be dressed up for play. The cropped knit costs £14.95 and will be a perfect layering piece.

Are you familiar with Chiara? Want to know more? Follow them on Twitter and Facebook for up to date information, and watch this space for more of them on the blog!
