Irregular Choices

Pair number two of my shoe binge are these Irregular Choices. A brand I never really appreciated until I saw Alex and Char rocking the hell out of them. This pair is in fact my second, the first being a pair these gorgeous girls bought me last year when they came to see me in hospital; a pair that are actually too pretty to have yet been worn (watch this space, I will be wearing them soon!)

The boxes themselves are a wonder to behold!
I chose this style with work in mind. A smart style shoe with a pretty twist. They also proved themselves yesterday as being supremely comfortable. Win win.

Worn with a weekend purchase from Matalan, thanks to my winning voucher. Score. I had forgotten how brilliant Matalan is for work wear!

Do you own irregular choice shoes? I know they are a bit of a marmite brand…people either love or hate them!

Happy Friday!

Oasis New Vintage

*Drool Worthy Collection Alert*

“Taking inspiration from the past, Oasis has created the New Vintage Collection, compromising of exquisite prints and designs, these beautiful pieces encapsulate the romance and nostalgia of eras gone by”.

There are five dresses in the collection, all with matching scarves and bags.

£125

£110

£35

£16

At the very least, I NEED a scarf. These prints are right up my street; and the cut of the dresses looks amazing. Vintage with some modern kicks. Laura loves.

All are available now from Oasis stores and online.

Oasis also kindly sent some amazing biscuits from biscuiteers. I took them in to work for some much needed spoiling…and they didn’t last long enough to snap a photo. Take my word for it though guys…most stunning biscuits ever!

Shoe Binge

I’ve been on a shoe binge lately. It’s ok, I’m working now, and also reaping the benefit of being a Sarenza brand ambassador which earns me new shoes every month!
Last month I introduced you to my floral Clark’s originals…and following on with the pink theme this month I embraced colour blocking and went for the Shellys Whisky Mist shoe in Pink!

As much as I love heels, I just can’t wear them much unless they are sturdy. Years of abuse on my body has left me with this self inflicted problem, so I can’t complain too much…but still, it is always a bonus to be able to buy gorgeous shoes, fully expecting to barely be able to wear them (the fate of many of my shoes) to find that actually, these could not be more perfect for my feet and knees!

I’ve been aware of Shellys shoes for ages now, but had never paid much attention to them up until recent weeks.

Clearly I’ve been missing out…just take a look at these!

Has anyone ever used insoles to help with discomfort? I’d be interested to know what works!

…and to keep in the spirit of things, my water bottle (I WILL flush out this infection…and I WILL continue to drink water after it clears) matches!

Well, it does when it’s not the victim of my harsh photography skills! This was something I purchased in Bath from a shop called Tinc which had an amazing array of stationary goodness! The lady bug pot is full of wasabi peas!

June, so soon?

What happened? How is it June? I don’t remember giving time permission to move quite so fast. We could have at least had decent weather to properly mark the arrival of Spring/Summer. Argh.

Well, actually yesterday was rather gorgeous weather wise…and as a farewell to May I wore a summer dress, (New Look, £15.99), Matalan wedges (£18) and Tabio orange tights (oh how I wish it were warm enough/I were brave enough for bare legs).

My working week is only just starting back today. I’m wearing the worlds dullest outfit; bog standard black skirt and a basic topshop vest. De-motivated? Why yes I am today.

Happy mid-week all…half way to the weekend xxx
