The third and final item I bought in Primark on Friday was this jumper dress…blue with bright flecks of wool for only £15? SOLD.
Please excuse the hair, we’re not talking today.
Actually, I lie because that wasn’t my final find…that would be these nails, for £1.50 I deemed them worth a shot. They aren’t the best, but as someone who doesn’t often, if ever go for false nails they were a good place to start.
Have you found any recent gems in Primark? Or anywhere infact.

You’ve probably seen a few blogs doing this lately, as the lovely Daisy at discount coder set some bloggers on a mission to come up with the hottest ASOS outfit they could without it costing over £100.
For my outfit, I went for a day time look, and something I would wear myself. Here it is!
I love the colour and length of this dress, and at £28 is was the perfect budget basis for my outfit!
Normally I’d pick heels with a longer dress, but this Brogue boots, to me, seemed to fit perfectly. At £50 they blew half the challenge budget but I still managed!
My current hairband obsession knows no bounds and I couldn’t resist adding in this knitted turban band. I think the colour tones perfectly! £10
And finally, where would a Laura outfit be without tights? This £8 Mulberry pair fit the bill exactly and left my outfit total at £96…
What do you think?

You can probably guess how I feel about today by the title of my post, so I’ll keep it brief!
Utterly random outfit today, thrown on in the name of warmth. I picked the skirt up in Primark on Friday for the grand sum of £3. I’ve wanted a velvet skirt for ages, so I was quite content with that little bargain.
Today will mainly consist of wrapping parcels and trying to make sense of the mess that was formerly known as my “neat.new.bedroom”. Yeah. Only one part of the phrase fits right now.
Cleverly I have also managed to book appointments for today, tomorrow AND wednesday…yeah, really thought that one through!
Happy Monday all, hope you stay warm.
Don’t forget to enter my giveaways if you haven’t already!
Tea for two (ends Thursday)

Yep, double post from me today! I thought I’d share some of the ups, and downs on this week!
UP
-Finishing my Christmas shopping!
-New warm jumpers, good old Primark. I wore one of the yesterday
-Dressing Flash up for the cold weather
-Dunster by Candlelight with my Grandad. I failed to get any photos, but trust me it was MAGICAL. It was madly busy, you couldn’t get in to any of the shops, but it didn’t matter! Seeing the town lit up…especially the castle. Just wow.
-PG Tips Christmas Monkey! Thanks Dad!
DOWN
-The weather. I don’t need to elaborate!
-Christmas songs. 2 hours of Cliff Richard Christmas songs on the return from Dunster. Kill.Me.Now.
-Wrapping Christmas presents…the downside to have finished shopping. I’m useless at gift wrapping.
-Crazy mood swings. Tears to laughter in 2 seconds flat? No thanks.
What were your ups and downs this week?
