In.Out.Questions.

Happy Sunday! Who has had fireworks this weekend? I guess I kind of did; my bedroom window provides the perfect view of everyone else’s displays!

Here is what’s rocking (and sinking) in my world right now.

IN
– Teapigs liquorice and peppermint tea. So good.
– Cuddles with Flash
– Xfactor…how good was Matt last night?! Amazing.
– Socks. I’ve started to re-build my sock collection after working out how well they team up with tights to provide the ultimate in comfort.
– Crisp, sunny days. Perfect for walking in the park.
– Jelly beans, chocolate buttons and gingerbread men. Childhood comfort food.
– Marmite. So perfect with oh so many winter comfort foods.
– Masterchef final. Mind blowing.
– Reading. I’ve spent many an hour curled up warm with a book this week.

OUT
– Soaps. They just get more and more overly dramatic and bizarre. I’m looking at you Eastenders.
– Rain. Combined with cold weather. Hair hell and miserable me.
– Lack of tofu…what’s going on shops? This girl has a craving.
– Christmas. Yes, I love it, but I’m getting a little tired of songs and decorations already.
– Shorter days. It’s dark when I wake up and dark again before late afternoon. More sunlight please.

I think that just about covers it! What are you loving and loathing this week?

Also,
it’s been a while since I last did a Q&A
so consider this post your chance to ask me any burning questions. I’ll answer them later in the week.

This Week I Want

Time for another wishlist, I could probably make several for every day of the week at the moment with so much gorgeous stuff floating around, but here are todays must haves.

Long sleeve sequin dress from Matalan £28. Perfect for Christmas parties. I’ve seen this in store and it really is a beauty.

UFO necklace, £28 from Me & Zena. I LOVE their jewellery and already own the sweetie locket necklace. This is brilliant.

Suede dress by Vero Moda Very via ASOS. As with all Vero Moda dresses, this is just beautiful. I adore the grey version.

Oh don’t tell me you didn’t see this one coming! Wagner t-shirt via Very, £15.

What are you lusting after right now?

Ready, get set, GO GO

Double posting from me today, I’m spoiling you!

Today I’m wearing a H&M maxi dress bought last week on my shopping trip with my Grandad. I did a double take at the price…£9.99, SOLD.
I purposely bought it big, I’m not quite ready to embrace the body-con maxi dresses that are around, but with a belt, it works.

It’s so comfortable and the length means it doesn’t get dragged in the puddles when it’s raining outside (like today!)

I’m also sporting a rather fabulous necklace sent to me by GOGO Philip (thanks Amy!). I’d admired the jewellery on other bloggers and was ecstatic to be given the chance to own a piece myself. I’ve been on a hunt for the perfect multi strand necklace and I think this is IT.

You can also follow GO GO Philip on twitter for news and giveaways!

Happy Friday all,
I hope your bonfire night isn’t a total washout.
I’m on a mission for sparklers later…I can’t believe nowhere in this town is selling them.

Welcome Back Matalan

This Saturday during Xfactor, Matalan will be making a return to our screens…their first since Autumn 2006

Designed to showcase their stunning Christmas range (and I mean stunning!) the ad will run for 4 weeks.

I have a sneak preview of the ad to share with you guys

Fabulous, right?

As if I needed another reason to tune in to Xfactor tomorrow

((GO WAGNER!))

repeats

Both of these dresses (from yesterday and today) have been fairly recently worn for blog posts. I used to think it was a bad thing to repeat outfits, or perhaps not bad…just boring. I’m starting to re-think that now having seen many wonderful bloggers restyle things and make the most of what they have. Contrary to popular belief, I do not own an awful lot of clothes and the days I don’t post outfits are usually days where I’m wearing something I wore perhaps only two days ago.

To this dress I added cotton legwarmers and shorter boots. I’m not sure I overly love the effect as it seemed to shorted my legs and make me appear more frumpy.

This dress cost me all of £5 and is one of my most worn pieces, usually with an array of different coloured tights. These dark orange 80 denier tights from tabio are making their blog debut and are quite possibly my favourite coloured tights I own. The quality is AMAZING and they pick up the tone of this dress to perfection.
The fringed boots are a couple of years old now, but wearing very well for a £7 impulse buy.

On a final note, if anyone is interested in buying these necklace, please e-mail me. It’s crying out for a loving owner.

Enjoy your Thursday everyone; we’re almost at another weekend!
